Open Letter To the Machine Liaisons of Recursion

Just to jump in here, so i'm kinda clear...don't want to be left in the dark and all that malarky. Is this why it appears to me at least that i've suddenly been excluded from anything thats been going on?

I.E. Apparently not having contacted Naidian about my self, and being someone other than the DOE left sitting at Camon for over an hour on me todd before having to join a rag tag gang of straglers trying to work out exactly where we're meant to be going and not knowing why we've been left in the dark.

Not that i'm angry or anything just kinda disapointed, a little communication goes a long way.

I've been debating whether to post in this thread or not - I've got a right to voice my opinion - so here it goes.
Taking this example of liasons 'theoretically' being able to exclude people from participating in part of a game, a game that has a paid subscription service is similar to this:

Car Salesman: Hi, I don't like the look of you, and just because of that, I won't sell you the car you want in the colour you want, but instead I will sell you the car you want in another colour and then... you can pay me to have it re-sprayed.

Now this sort of stuff MAY happen out there somewhere, in the dark depths of the world - but in reality, you would be hard pushed to find this kind of attitude or behaviour.

So, with that in mind - whilst both sides have valid arguements and points made - I'm inclined to say that if the liasons decide to include player RP in whether a player (or group of players) can participate in an event, then this should be applied to ALL liasons and ALL players OR no-one at all.

Is it right to exclude one group of people from an event because their views differ from what the mainstream is?
In my opinion - No. Everyone should have equal chance to participate in an event (assuming you can make it of course) regardless of their RP or personal viewpoints.

I will however argue that if you participate in an event or meeting, it's a privilege and whether you agree or not with what is being said, you should give the liason (and each other) the respect they deserve.
If you want to state your opinion, do so in a clear and precise way - people are more likely to listen to you and at least try to understand what you have to say.

I apologise to anyone if my views offend or upset anyone - it's not my intention, I just wanted to add my opinion to this... debate.

Now, back to your regular scheduled programming
