Heh, I thought somebody actually had some profound observation on Neo's headphones or something, like they said "teh one" on them or something.

But yeah, I can't believe the Massive Attack song isn't on the official soundtrack, especially when random crap that wasn't even in the film is on the CD (though I am glad Du Hast was on there).

So since this is about the music in the Matrix. Anyone know what songs are playing on the Matrix Reloaded and revolutions DvD's menu? (I get that its Neodammerung in Revo but is it like a remix of it or what?)

The one on Revolution's menu is Spirit of The Universe I think, it's part of the song near the end.

On the Revolution it's a Neodammerung/Spirit of the Universe Mix, I'd like a full version of that.

Also, anybody knows what song that is in the original Matrix DvD menu? They changed the song as far as I know in the later versions, but that one in the first version, it's neither on the soundtrack, nor anywhere. WHAT IS IT?

The Reloaded menu is the Instrumental version of "I'm Not Driving Anymore" by Rob Dougan, the same guy who did Furious Angels.

As for the original Matrix DVD menu music, I have no idea SMILEY

Even though this thread was started about the music on Neo's headphones, I'm going to ask another (as it seems others have on here too).

For 10pts (seems a nice round figure) can someone name for me the music that's playing in the background when Neo speaks with the Oracle for the first time? If you don't know, go look it up, you'll like the answer.

As for the song that is playing in the Neo/ Oracle meeting, I think the philosophers mentioned it in the commentary. It is something like "I am beginning to see the light..."

It starts with "Minor Swing" by Django Rhinehardt and then switches to "I'm Beginning to See the Light" by Duke Ellington.

That's on the Ultimate Matrix Collection disc of the first film, but it's something completely different on the original DVD.
