((Yeah, its black)I still can't tell. Too dark compared to the light cinematic and lightening the pic doesn't change the color since it was dark from ingame.

Keanu : "Napoleon was a short dead dude" (so is the real Morpheus)

0uranos wrote:In that case 0uranos is half right. He may not be short... but he's almost definitely dead, in the same way that Napoleon is almost definitely dead. If they bring back the real Morpheus after all this time, then they have to bring back Napoleon... I'd rather they didn't. Keep the legend alive, let the man rest in peace.Keanu : "Napoleon was a short dead dude" (so is the real Morpheus)Morpheus wasn't short so by that analogy he is definitely not dead...
He must be after the Seraphim shoes
I thought it was Lo Ramuh, but it's been a while since I've been down there!
Wow... this is building up to something! =)
((Note the black vest. Its the sim.))Actually it's easier if you examine the pants.

Rarebit, you need to find yourself a girl, mate.

I was wondering why you guys were paying such close attention to his shirt. Then Rarebit had to come in and validate it. Good eye, guys. Attention to detail pays off.
Just another cocktease, darnit.

If the Real Morpheus pants color is purple... wouldn`t that make this* Morpheus the real one?

One closer picture just for doubt...

Right; so Morpheus enjoyed Lo Ruhamah's outfit as much as I did, I see.
OK, so what have we learned?
Very little by itself, it seems... but other facts from the past may be helpful.
At the very beginning, Morpheus was taking the "jihadist" route, using viruses and code bombs to destabilize the Matrix. His intent: To retrieve Neo's physical body and return it to Zion. He went to The Oracle on several occasions to help him decide upon that path. In fact, he very directly asked "Why won't they give up his remains?" Of course, the Mervs hired the Assassin to take Morpheus down, EPN is formed, blah blah blah.
When the General created Morpheus 2.0 (or are we calling him Morpheus-sim? Psuedo-Morpheus? Whatever.) he used some of Morpheus's memories to create him. Why do I say that? It's obvious. A simulated version of Morpheus would not be convincing without his memories or some type of thought-pattern-algorithms in the AI. Of course, it was probably impossible for the General to get a full idea of Morpheus's every last thought and memory; the original was a redpill, after all, and didn't spend his entire life jacked in. So the Morpheus we see here today is most likely a flawed creation. Hell, even the Intruder saw through the ruse.
So maybe the whole black pants/purple pants thing was designed deliberately.
But we knew that already.
Try this on for size: Morpheus 2.0 does have a collection of the original redpill's memory patterns, including the fact that Neo and Trinity died to save Mankind. He apparently remembers Seraph; he would know that Seraph would keep an eye on current events as well. So Seraph and Morpheus 2.0 have a little chat. Morpheus 2.0 is directed to the Abandoned Subway where he speaks to LR. Meanwhile, someone (can't tell who... Ghost? Some other redpill? It definitely isn't Morpheus) visits Neo's gravesite, and LR decides to go have a chat with the Trainman.
Put it all together... and it seems to me like Morpheus 2.0 is trying to find a way to revive Neo. I still think that's impossible - the man is dead, Jim - but stranger things have happened. If the Architect could devise a way to genetically reincarnate someone, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for Zion to do the same thing when given the correct knowledge and equipment.
(Note to self: Put in a call to LR.)
Maybe he's the real Morpheus this whole time but he was brainwashed into thinking he was just a SIM! ![]()

<.<
I've actually thought about that before...I remember before he died there being rumors Morpheus was working with the General...Maybe he's the real Morpheus this whole time but he was brainwashed into thinking he was just a SIM!
The story summary that just went up says:
"Operatives identified contact between Seraph, Morpheus, and Lo Ruhamah. Morpheus was seen with Ruhamah at the Abandoned Subway."
Why doesn't it say "the Morpheus SIM"...? Or is the SIM just called "Morpheus" now?
((Oh and the Oracle did say that just calling the Sim 'Morpheus' was easier. Everyone should know by now that it's a sim and that Morpheus died at the hands of the assassin, so just call it by the name it was given, no confusion necessary.))

If the Oracle considers that "no confusion necessary", then she should probably relinquish her title as an Intuitive Program

Wait, wait. Is this Morpheus? Supposedly dead Morpheus? Or is it another annoying appearance of the Simulacrum....Troublesome....hmm...

Morpheus isn't an exiled program though as he's still in the place where he's supposed to be and... I suspect, still has a purpose...

Lack of purpose doesn't equal exile. See "The Keymaker" for reference.
