Scheduled for tomorrow.

I wonder if this expands on the problem of Machine programs and Agents getting overwritten and requiring retirement...

I was disappointed with the new enemy. I was expecting it to look more like this:

o.0 When I saw it say Eliminate the Terminator program I imagined I was in for a long day!

Does this man that the Intruder can project his playthings into places he's not been? Also when he first showed up it is quite possible he used this type of program to terminate the Agents who first showed up, however... all the previous times in which Agents have been terminated by the Intruder himself they've had the residual 'dandruff' effect, these ones didn't have that. So this may be the first time he's used this Terminator program.

It was a nice mission; very straightforward.  There was no witty dialogue, and felt very official.  I thought it was a bit  short and lacking substance.  See agents, see agents and get data, get virus, fight a program and place virus.  I was hoping maybe a bit more info about why the intruder is here would be revealed as opposed to what he is capable of.  Overall, thumbs up.

Nein, you can't. You kill the Terminator by "using" the computer/laptop, which then makes the Terminator unselectable and unlootable.

Darn. SMILEY  Well, maybe some other day.

Here's a quick summary for all curious:
Agent Gray tells you to investigate a site where Agents have stopped responding. You show up and your operator tells you there aren't any strange readings, but you find several Agents slain (about four or five). A bluepill is there who claims he found them all this way. The operator confirms he's just a standard bluepill.

Agent Gray tells you that the Intruder was nowhere near that location when the incident happened. Another incident has occurred and when you investigate the next site, you find more dead Agents. On the body of one Agent (Lv255) you find some data. You're instructed to take it to Agent Pace.

You find Agent Pace in a lab filled with computers, scientists, and a few Agents. Some interesting dialogue here:

Scientist: A c-compromised algorithm has to be rewritten to prevent the same exploit from being used on it again.

Scientist: It's very simple. The intruder's programs access vital sections of our own codebase.

Scientist: Yes, we are...beginning to evaluate at-risk core routines for possible rewrites.

Agent Wong: Some code routines can not be rewritten.

Agent Pace instructs you to put the data into the computer. Once you do that, she informs you that a counter-code is being developed and you can find it in the other computer. Once you take it, you can read the computer which says the data is classified.

Outside, Agent Gray tells you that the code is from the intruder's Terminator programs. It can terminate system programs just like the Intruder can. The virus you've obtained has the ability to kill the Terminator program as long as you can insert it into a terminal near the program itself. You're sent in because programs, obviously, can not be put at risk.

Once you reach the program and the computer, accelerated exiles appear to hinder your progress. Once you upload the virus the Terminator program ceases function.

You can attack the Terminator: just do so before you use the computer. I attacked it, but I was by myself and couldn't get its health down very far before my IS ran out and it had enough time to regain its health. A group of hackers could no doubt take it down with relative ease.

Edit: Oh, and a few seconds after the Accelerated Exiles appeared in the room, the Terminator sent out one of its pulses and killed them before I did. SMILEY

I wonder whether the Machines will be able to keep killing these things. I'm surprised they were actually efficient for once.

Seems like the Merv would be interested in getting a program with these kinda capabilities.

Decent missions this week, all 3 are clearly leading into next week's.

I loaded Balista and killed it the old fashioned way, no terminator bit.

That happened to me too! I thought that was really neat SMILEY At least the Machines were able to make a virus to kill it!
