Unless I'm missing something in the image I think the wow factor is starting to decrease a lil' bit. I mean I'm looking forward to it... but some screens with more hints would be nice.
Here's to hoping Rarebit comes up with some more screens in the next few days that refresh that wow factor as he's done in the last couple of threads...

But yes it does look like a water treatment plant...

For me at least, its awesome the area is so big. But I agree, we need shots of more than just the area. Unless that's all there is right now?

This is how I am feeling too, I was expecting a bit more information this time. At this rate, we will have seen all the new area before it is pushed live SMILEY

Hopefully Rarebit will post some screens on NPCs, or signs of the names of a area or something ^_^

There's an Image Retrieval every week, and it's clear this new area is a monumental undertaking so it's undoubtedly the only thing being worked on right now - ergo the only thing for Image Retrieval to feature.

And it's also clear that this area is slowly building up. Level design isn't a fast process; he probably hadn't added a single NPC at the time he took these shots. So there's nothing else to see but the area! SMILEY

Wow factor is still there for me.

We're seeing something that isnt just normal NPC spawn content like we've had for a long time now.

This is much cooler, keep it coming.

I'm under the impression that since this is still a "Work in Progress" and considering the next patch is in 3 weeks, I doubt it will be finished by then. So, I've left the date out of the new version of the sig I made.

Maybe he'll have some more in later this week. With it coming in slightly later than usual tonight, I imagine Rarebit got sidetracked and needed to rush an image to Virrago last-minute. Still looks great though! It's like 01 on crack.

I'm thinking it's probably a new construct, since that would be a lot easier to add (it wouldn't require the patching of a whole existing district - which as we saw with the white halls tends to take a long time).

Thats an incredable area you've been working on there Rarebit. I'm really looking foreword to seeing it in the live game, and what secrects it holds.

Also I like the Water Treatment Plant idea, shame it wasn't around when Unlimit were contaminating the water supply.
