This debate makes a very good case for Cyph and EPN to be their own org....

You know that's never going to happen unless we get another dev(s), which surprisingly enough hasn't happend for a very long time as our devs have actually decreased in number. Also, it's been stated by Rarebit that he doesn't have the time to do 5 seperate missions, not to mention having to rewrite the game code in order to house the new organizations.

*sighs and rubs her forhead*  Do they want this game to die?  Are they specifically trying to run it into the ground?

Quick question...I got a mech, a merv and a zion currently (all named Dulux, or a approximation of it) which is an RP choice and a game choice. I like playing all 3, i like seeing all angles of the story, and i like going to all three events (although currently have only been to zion and one cyph one just last week). So me question is, is this okay? As i'm supposed to be the same character, someone who has a working for everyone and no one type stance, does this rule me out for these rewards, or looked down at for going to events?

To be honest rewards don't really bother me too much, i did get a translocation program from Niobe recently which i totally didn't expect and was kinda chuffed with, but it's not really the reason i participate in events (also i'm not that great a fighter to be honest).

Most of the Liason's i've met seem to be okay with me, though not sure if they all know about my three org status, but i've never tried to hide it, infact had a conversation with the Cyph Liason as my merv after she let me tag along to said Cyph event (even though i got the feeling, some machines weren't welcome) and i even got some help of Cryptos killing a level 63 which was cool.

Just thought i'd put this out here to see what everyone though of my postition and wether it was frowned upon or not.

That shouldn't matter, though if you were gathering intel from 1 alt to give to others in another alts org, then that itself will be frowned upon, which we know some people do. The point here though relates to specific alts, so say Dulux1 is EPN, then drops his EPN tag to do a Zion only event and tries to win it, say he does , then dulux1 goes back to EPN and is at the next EPN event etc. Whats being said about that is you will be view as a Zion operative from that point, because you dropped your EPN tag and will not be allowed to enter/win EPN events.

Thats okay then cause Dulux is just Zion and Duiux is just mech, of course if i could have five Dulux's and get and EPN and Cyph tag (which i seriously doubt i could) i'd consider it...though i'd like to think there would be no need to to do that.

And no i don't share info between orgs etc, that would kinda defeat the point i guess, if i informed mech or merv's about a secret zion meeting which would no doubt cause a big fight, seeing as i'm trying to stop the fighting...if you get me SMILEY

Yes, MxO could be grand but in hindsight, everything can be.  Appreciate what it actually is rather than what it could be.

And get laid.  K?

trust me, they're both doing just fine in that department, rest assured.

I would hardly call that "getting laid"

Why not?  A lot of people said "Good for them. Has nothing to do with MXO, though." when I complained about WoW having a MySpace Profile for advertising when MxO didn't.  Look at MxOSpace now.

If you don't give a crap about MxO, then cool.  Just say so and walk away.  Some of us do, though.  Some of us want to see it reach its potential.  If there's something wrong with that... oh well.

The big problem is it's not so much about the game reaching its potential as this game started out as a completely grander animal than it is now.  When SOE bought this game they took away the things that made it so great:

REAL live events and characters we could interact with.  They removed half the game.

If they could just restore it to what it originally was that would be a massive improvement over this downgrade.

That would require more manpower and budget that MxO has. As long as it's still cutting a profit for SoE on minimal budget I don't see any injection of cash into MxO so the Dev's have to make do with what they can at their disposal.

I know and understand this reasoning, but we all know SOE has more money than God.
