Vector-Hostile 2008 Tournament of Soldiers

Shadows of the Infinite on Vector-Hostile server will be hosting a tournament for all characters, lvl 50, who wish to enter regardless of org affiliation. This will be a two part competition starting with Martial Arts followed by Gunman.

Entry Fees

$i5 Million per competition
$i8 Million if players enter both (Discounted from $i10)

Rules

Anyone can sign up to one or both challenges. Players are restricted to only martial art styles for the MA competition and gunman styles for the gunman competition, no Spy, Hacker, or Coder builds allowed, strictly Soldier.
Duels will go on as long as they have to and be scored by best two out of three rounds.
A mandatory jack-out will be required by both competitors before the initial duel begins.
There will be no consumables whatsoever, no external buffs of any kind, no silver bullets, wooden stakes, or holy water, no shadow pills and no mobius code.

Violation of any of these rules will be grounds for immediate disqualification of offender and loss of entry fee.

Winning

The winner of each bracket takes a grand prize purse based on amount of entries along with bonus items including:

Sakura Ninja Bandana (x1)
Yuki Ninja Bandana (x1)
Quicksilver Gloves (x1)
Stinger Shotgun (x1)
Elite Commando Shoes, Gloves, and Glasses (x1 of each)

The two victors for each bracket will go head to head in a final duel, each in their winning bracket style, for a grand bonus prize of:

Overdrive Bandana (x1)
Code Optimizer Hypos (x20)
Smith's Rage Pills (x20)
Shadow Razor, Shadow Wall Kick, Shadow Phoenix Pills (x1 of each)

Saturday, February 9^th at 1pm MST, 8pm GMT
MA bracket: 1PM MST @ Rogers Way Central Fight Club
Gunman bracket: 30 Minutes after MA bracket @ Club Messiah near Chelsea Central Hardline

Sweet, looks like the making for a great event so far. Lets keep it going, don't forget to tell all your friends and enemies. Remember this tournament is open to all lvl 50's so you machines and mervs out there don't be affraid to represent you're orgs and factions. And if you guys know people on other servers with 50's on Vector let them know too.

love to join but as most of the time, those events and tourneys dont work for me.

Can this be arranged on Sundays any time after 1:00 pm est or any other day after 8:00pm est

Missed lots of turneys because I work during this time and some others I know as well that would love to join but cant for same reason.

If this can be changed to be on sundays and if it works for others too, great. If not tnx anyway.

Saturday or Sunday is good for me. It's these events at 3 or 4pm PST during the week that kill me. A lot of us are out of school and earning our subscription fee in the real world, and for that we usually end up missing events.

Well this event actually starts at 12pm PST. And hey, I would love to set a time that worked for everyone, unfortunatly thats 100% impossible. There are players all over the world and there will never be a good time that everyone can agree on. If I asked 20 people to put the best time for them to have this I would get 20 replys with 20 different times. It sucks, I know. Ther have been plenty events over the last few years that I have missed because I was working or busy in the real.

PST/MCT is 7 or 8 hours behind GMT, depending on whether it's daylight savings time. since you have to run windows to play this game, you can easily look on your system clock by changing your timezone. it's not that hard, people. nobody heard of google either?

Ok, we got some great signup's and we will be having this thing. You can still sign up till the end of the night/early morning and we will be accepting late signup's just before the tournament starts... I know some people aren't sure if they can make it or not so we will leave it open till just before we start tomorrow.
