Well, I disagree. You don't physically form the Faction in-game, but you can still talk and get to know members and recruits before the game went into beta, and it just gives you a head start on members and having people to play with who you have been talking with for over a year.
Also, take your pissy drama BS out of our recruitment thread. That's twice. I'm bringing it up here as I do not want to spam the thread. We don't post in yours, so let's show some decency, shall we?
Actually closed beta started in June of 04 and the UBI site was up on November 14, 2003. Oh and yes it is possible to be a faction, clan, group before a game is released. What would be the point of recruitment threads on forums pre-release if this wasn't the case?
So if you want to be technical The Collective has been apart of The Matrix Online community for 4 years/3 in game.
To add I don't see what the crazy fuss is about. I think it is pretty cool that some of these factions still exist today.
You cant have a faction before the game was made >.>
You can have a group of people who are going to make a faction when the game is released, but you cant make a faction before the game is made you have no faction tags
It makes no sense having a faction before the game was even created thats just silly.
Its like saying yeah I had a phone number before there were phones
I thought about them and wrote mine down so that means I was the first >.>
