Not to destroy the mood, but that little area isn't so impressive. Some chimneys on a hill. The more interesting question is, though, where do these belong to? Teasershots, anyone? *cough* Rarebit *cough*Maybe not the area... but the building behind looks unique... A/The powerplant perhaps?
:Flood in the Matrix...I lol'ed
:So? He's just the Merv controller... probably a live event.
:NO! FLOOD IN THE MATRIX!
:<gurgle>

I humbly take it, we'll get wet in this new area.
Pun intended?
I really like the idea if fighting in the water, and get very excited at the prospect of an amazing pic of two people fighting in water edited with lots of splashing and stuff ^_^

Very, very, very, impressive!

Hee, more water for Madame le Nautonnier to muck around in! This is shaping up to be something really big from the look of things.
A couple other shots from that session:Hm... that certainly suggests this might be a new district. There's Downtown-like buildings in the background. I'm officially joining the "new district" theorists.

I don't wanna fight rats =(I doubt we'll be fighting rats, there's already a rat-themed gang in Edgewater, the Wharf Rats.
Oh wait, there's supposed to be Zombies at the Powerplant.
No wait ... will there be ... ZOMBIE RATS? ZOMG

I'm entertained.
I'll see it when it comes out.
No wild dire bears to maul you to death? Awh ... And I was looking forward to some dismemberment by wild beasts.
Chadwick mentioned a nuclear reactor in theX.fm's coverage interview of ComicCon and SOE Block Party last year (maybe the year before). Mave covered the interview.
I think the jist of it is that someone in Monolith was working on it, SOE took over and it sat on a shelf since then.
Though the smokestacks don't quite fit the description of a nuclear reactor, this area does look industrial. And we haven't seen all of it yet.

If it's a construct then yeah, perhaps another sky would work, if it's another district then it should be the same sky as the rest of the districts. If it's nuclear power in an old converted power station (hence the chimneys and storage housings) then there wouldn't be any smog. If its not Nuclear powered and a normal power plant then there might be a slight smog in the higher parts of the air, but not too much.
Plus I dont want to go back to this:

>_< It was ok for 6 weeks, but it does get heavy on the eyes.
Mabey it would be ok if it was only a construct, but I dont think it is a construct, it is too.... city like....
I liked the red sky event, thats how I based my Nemesis movie, but thats a different subject.

I like the look of this new area. Hoping it is a new district because that would be wicked, something other then running around boring Mara C ect ect.
After all the city is bigger then a small park with a Telephone box.
Excited to see this appear.
Hey, even though I loved the red sky, I wouldn't want to see it be a permanent thing either hehe I just feel the happy Sati sky is a complete mismatch for the post-destruction type environment we're seeing. If I had my way (and yes, if it was just a construct) I'd go with the more orange tinged sky that came before the red sky.
