Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Uh, Cromartie (villain terminator) shot said agents with regular firearms, not Terminatrix plasma cannons, so why did they have to censor that? After all, it was rated TV-14. 24 had government agents *AND* terrorists shot on-screen with shootouts.

Hey I know this is necroing, but I'm getting caught up on all my tv shows from this season.  Watched Episodes 4-9 pretty much back to back; after being reminded that I had these after rewatcing T1 recently.

I'm completely hooked.  And that sequence in the last episode....Johnny Cash + FBI raid + Cromartie = EPIC WIN!

Reminder Season 2 Kicks off tonight 8pm EST  it looks good hopefully things will continue to be good for this season

Tivo has me covered, in case I don't get home phrom work in time.

Monday's episode was pretty weak IMHO.  I don't need Cameron all emo.  Also, my new least favorite character is that crappy fat blonde ditzy pregnant woman.  Note to the fairer gender:  Do not wear a tight midriff when you are nine months pregnant.  It's...just wrong.

I thought it was good that they are fleshing out some of Camerons back ground.  In the first season a T-800 couldnt tell which model she was also she able to eat.  Not as strong as other episode but still getting around to w t f she is about and where she came from.


Why oh why can The Matrix online have guys say Whiskey Tango Foxtrot clearly W T F and I cant write that out on the forums?  GFYS <-- figure that one out (hint one of the words sounds like tony.)

Yeah I liked the multiple POV's.  Tonight's episode was quite good, probably the best thus far in Season 2.

Liking the past few episodes.  Very thoughtful.  I liked the whole Myron Stark thing tonight.  A Terminator in the 1920's!  Whoops!

yea, Riley gets on my nerves, wish she got killed in Mexico. But when John kicked the dumb guy's arse at the stupid party cuz reetard riley stole the stupid lighter, That was awesome.

Yeah, there's trouble in store behind that one, I think. The 1920's flashback bit was interesting though, I agree. I think this series opens the concept up immensely. It's good to see the franchise expand on the original concept like it does here and still stick to the point.

Wow reeeally good fall finale.  More and more possibilities open up.  And what was that thing...a T1,000,000,000?????

I havent had more thoughtful anticipatory fun watching a teevee show since the X-Files I think.....With so many possibilities open, with every question answered five more pop up.  And there was a teaser for the Spring.  Show moves to Friday night...sounds good to me. 

Verdict:  Win.

didnt get to see tonight's episode... stupid girlfriend's mom is stupid... I was really looking forward to it tonight too. Have to watch it on the interwebz-a-doodle tomorrow perhaps.

EZTV FTW!  See it yet Imax?

The start of the second half of Season 2 premiered last night.  It was moved to Friday lined up with Josh Weadon's Dollhouse.  I just finished watching it (will check out Dollhouse later); grabbed it off the iterwebz.

Anyways Episode 14 is worth seeing...despite emo parts with Sarah; they're is a whole sequence with Shirley Manson that had me literally shouting "YEAH!!" out loud....lol.

For that alone...with seeing.  Also, John Henry.

Yes, but it is sequential so I recommend seeing the series in order.

Just finally got cuaght up on the 2 past episodes... This show is on the up and up if you ask me. Keeps getting better. The only parts that bother me are pretty much every scene with Riley in it... but I know there is a good reason behind it (just wish theyd get to the point already in that area) The scene with Jon Henry playing with toys is amazing, and personaly the entire story of Sarah trying to get the bullet out, with Kyle Reese being there the entire time was great. I love when they play homage to the movies like that. Also the cameo of Connor Trinneer was cool, seeing that I'm a big star trek fan.

Derek keeps being badass, John is still a big puss, but getting better, Cameron is still akwardly funny and cool at the same time, Sarah is still just a stone cold bi... err... badass.

Somthing else I think gets overlooked on this show, I belive it has some of the best music/score of any TV series I have ever seen. Not just in the credits, but the editing during the show, and music just keeps me so sucked in, its wonderful. I really think this show is Top Notch in most areas.

One last thing about the last episode...  *spoiler alert*

When Sarah and the kidnapped doctor are in the motel room, sarah is passed out dreaming of talking to Kyle Reese, and she says "This is gonna kill me" or somthing along those lines, then Kyle says "Wouldnt be the 1st time" then Sarah wakes up screaming "REESE!"    I wonder is there is more to that. Its kinda strange what Kyle said to her, implying that she had died once before. Just thought I'd point that out.

Haha just watched tonights episode on the West Coast and I see you beat me to it here...

That was pretty frikken stunning what happened...I mean some bad things happened to some characters I never liked, and then something bad happens to a character I do like...just like that.

HOWEVER one helluva buildup for the season finale next week....finally the world of John & Sarah Connor collides with the world of Miss Weaver, Ellison and John Henry!  Exteremely interesting....!

As far as...  him...  yeah...  honestly not sure what to say, other than it needed to happen.  Don't get me wrong... I didn't want it to happen...  but I can see why it needed to happen.

Yes!  That last one really raised so many more questions and possibilities.  I almost want to watch Season Two again knowing what I know now.  Especially in regards to Ms. Weaver.  That show is very thoughtful and well written.  If they do try to cancel it I hope fans will band together and lobby to get it back on air, even if it is on another network.

BTW that's a test of if a movie or especially a television show is really good or not...after having seen the movie or series, do I still think about it afterwards?  Yes IMHO this one does. This one makes the grade (and I'm very jaded, I might have seen about 10,000 movies over the course of a lifetime and who knows how many television shows, so a lot of movies and shows just are enjoyable while I watch them but I've already forgotten them very soon afterwards). 

I've avoided reading this thread so I wasn't spoiled. Having seen the fourth movie and as I'm now lacking in a regular TV series to keep track of (Lost, Heroes and Fringe have finished for the moment) I'm going to catch up with the series. Is it worth doing so?

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!  Watch them sequentially (there were only two seasons) and although some episodes are slow I think that by the end of the series you will be amazed at just how thoughtful and extremely well written the show was.

Are they making any further series? I suppose there's only so far they can take it before it fecks with the timeline.

There are rumors of FX wanting to pick up the series... but I doubt it will happen.

I've enjoyed it thus far, I'm almost through episode 3.

So far I think it's been pretty well written and has some good acting. Summer Glau is not just a hotty ;D

I think what pushed me into the column from "this show is interesting" to "committed fan" was the seaon finale of Season One.   I think its quite likely that if you make it to that then you'll be hooked

Know any place you can stream season 1 online?

I wouldn't mind watching some instead of studying for finals.

Dunno about streaming...I'm a torrent man myself.   Hulu.com maybe???  I know they have other Fox titles.  But if you do go the torrent route it shouldn't be a problem, always lots of seeders.
