You know I was thinking about this the other day. Far be it from me to be sympathetic to the Zion cause but you really have to feel bad for these guys with concerns to their leaders. Whether this is just a coincidence or this is purposefully done I don't know but it seems that almost every leader-like person in Zion gets offed! You have the most famous, Morpheus getting whacked by the Assassin, Niobe getting done in, Lock is under a pile of rubble, and i think Ghost got fragged as well.
And what did they get as replacements? The Kid ...ooooohhhh you mean the guy Neo couldn't stand to have two seconds around him. I was no big fan of Morpheus (especially when he started all that talk about shutting down the Matrix) but at least the guy had charisma and some presence of character, plus the Zionites loved this guy.
Niobe wasn't a prize either but she could at least rally the troops. To end up taking orders from The Kid has to be the all time low.
I'd never thought I hear myself say this but for goddsakes at least bring Morpheus back! It was fun arguing with him and even more fun fighting with the guy . It was good to see the Zionites go nuts every time this guy would show up. Plus I think at this point the Zionists could use some morale boosting. I mean we know from the cinematic , Morpheus looked like he was done in , but it was always suggested that he survived and even now is healing from it. Anyway , just an idea...
