So, I want to have a discussion, but Im afraid that if I do, it'll get locked...
Any ideas on how I can have a discussion... since.. this is Syntax - world discussion foumrs... without it being locked? I mean, can I say how I feel, or is that against the rules or something?

How can we even come here, under WORLD DISCUSSION, and have an actual discussion, without it being locked? If I made a topic and said "HADHAHDASHDHASDHSA!" That would be spam. But I am here, wanting to discussion something, and if someone doesnt like it, does that give them the reason to lock it? no It wont. Noone is spamming, we are all here, discussing... things.
The topic wasn't spam and it did have merit as a legitimate thread. I guess when something gets reported enough times for it to be seen as a problem. You'd think a warning would have been given that it was going off-topic though before it got locked down.
I wish to discuss... how come we cant discuss whatever we please on here? As long as there isnt no spam, or flamebaiting, just simple mature arguing or debating, it should be alright, right?
It's ok to have fun like the thread in question but you have to remember that we all have a different stand point on what is and what is not spam. When this happens the best way to get things fixed is to contact either myself or Virrago and explain your side of the thread and let us review the actions taken.

Wont know unless you post it. And besides if it was something serious.. Think you may want to post rules for the topic itself before hand also as in "do not flame, spam, or joke on this topic" and such forth but maybe in a nice way...
Seems to do the trick to people who ave respect in a way. but those just plain immature. wont follow and heh the ban stick or warn stick is hit with them..
