Plans are underway for several anime-inspired movies. to be released

Variety Magazine reports that Crystal Sky Pictures has hired Dwight
Little to helm an American feature film adaptation of Namco's popular
Tekken fighting game franchise. Crystal Sky Pictures produced the
Nicholas Cage Ghost Rider picture. Little's previous martial arts
films are Brandon Lee's Rapid Fire, and Steven Seagal's Marked For
Death. Reportedly the upcoming American Tekken film will be a sci-fi
martial arts picture. The movie is scheduled to begin filming in
Shreveport, Louisiana on February 4th.
Justin Marks has written the screenplay for a Voltron movie to be
produced by Mark Gordon from Grey's Anatomy. Plans are to be released
through New Regency.
Justin Marks is also working on a new Street Fighter motion picture
to be centered around Chun-Li.
The 2nd live-action Transformers movie is underway. The next movie is
said to include Soundwave, Devastator, Arcee, Grimlock, Blitzwing,
and possibly...Unicron.
The new Batman: Gotham Nights animated movie is being produced under
Bruce Timm from the 90s Batman cartoon. This new movie will be
similar to Animatrix featuring six segments each done by different
anime creators featuring the Batman Begins/The Dark Knight movies.
Genndy Tartakovsky of Samurai Jack and Clone Wars fame is
spearheading an anime-influences animated feature of Power Of The
Dark Crystal based on the 1980s Jim Henson movie.
An all-CGI movie of Gatchaman is being produced by Imagi
Entertainment who did the recent TMNT movie. Imagi is also doing a
computer animated Astro Boy cartoon for 2009.
A live-action movie of Blood: The Last Vampire is underway in Asia
starring Korean actress Jun Ji-Hyun as Saya.
A Castlevania flick us being directed by Sylvan White from Stomp The
Yard. Paul Anderson from Resident Evil is writting the script.
The Dragonball movie is already gaining speed with a possible summer
2008 release. Chow Yun Fat is to play Master Roshi, Justin Chatwin is
Goku, James Marsters as Piccolo, Jamie Chung as Chi Chi, Emmy Rossum
as Bulma, and Joon Park as Yamcha. It's being directed by Stephen
Chow of Shaolin Soccer fame.
Ones in bold im looking forward to but the ones in underlined im skeptical about. Hell the DB or DBZ title has yet to be said if it is DB or DBZ so meh why im speculating it
