avatars/signatures

Okay  now,

ive been trying to find out new ways to make a signature or an avatar for myself,

but im wondering what is the best to use for sigs, i did have GIMP

but its kinda too advanced for me lol and if i do use gimp how would i be able to

get the font and such and effects to make it look matrix-like

in like the matrix coding, the green with white/light green expanding outline

ive had troubles doing text in gimp, just plain text most times, trying to get more
of a theme to it to make it look similar to the code to the matrix instead of the
blunt and dull times new roman
