Log In Rejected.... Shutting down...

Ever since the update patch I've been getting this error every now and then 'Login Rejected... Shutting down...' which closes the client down when clicking on ok...

Anyone know what this is about and if it's me or something wrong with the server?

Don't think thats anything new to do with the update cause i've been getting that every so often since i started, everything but me in the game will freeze up and i'll find i can't jump or do anything much, then after a min or two i'll get that message. Dunno whats going on to be honest, thought it was just the Matrix not wanting to be my friend anymore

same here, but it only seems to happen when there's something from the christmas event going on. snow, a snowman, some of the new clothing, etc.

Are you using the station launcher or the normal shortcut to Launcher.exe from the install?

This issue is likely caused because the Auth server for some reason is rejecting your login.

Just and FYI the auth server isn't part of the game cluster and the MxO team has no control over it.

Thanks 9mmFu. I am using, as always, the normal launcher not the new beta station launcher. It happened a few times when I've been playing for a good 30 mins at least (I'm not too savvy about how the mechanics of the auth server works). Note the past tense there. It seems to have cleared up for me, at least for now.

I wasn't suggesting that you guys were in control of it, just that it started (to me at least) straight after the update.
