There were ideas for having "private constructs" that players could buy and kit out with firewall defenses and so forth. Mind you the idea didn't get very far, and that "Configure Construct" button you see there didn't do anything--which may help explain why it's attached to a newspaper dispenser of all things.

Well I don't know if you've every tried to look up stuff from old Image Retrievals, but I have and it can be tricky to track them down. I figured I'd put them all in one place here. These are in chronological order, starting pretty modestly in January 2006 with the removal of those pesky old Blackwoods from Debir Court.

Hm I should add that I think there were Image Retrievals before these, these are just the ones that I did.
I was asked at the party if I had a favorite screenshot, and I said not really, there are too many, although I mentioned I liked the one I'm currently using for my av/sig, which was from a Syntax Machine event (where Wright killed that woman whose body the BIP was in at Club Koas). But this one above meant a lot to me too, even though it was posed. It was the first I showed of Datamine, I think (note the water is a funny bluish color because I was still running the winter weather), and it took a lot of takes, but I think it kind of captured the excitement I was feeling at the time. And I do like backflipping off things.
