I just want to make note of how great it is to see the Image Retrievals coming out so early in the day.  It shows that Virrago is on top of things and takes the job seriously.  So, thank you Virrago.

OH MY GOD! FINALLY I GET DECENT SHOES TO GO WITH MY WHITE SUIT! NO MORE AVERO ANKLE BOOTS CRAP!

Now too bad everyone and their mother will be wearing these items for about a month or two.

The shoes are cool, if not unexpected, but I'm really not sure when I'll ever wear white shoes.  The coats, however, do absolutely nothing for me.  I've never worn a boucher and these won't make me want to start.  Of course, I'll probably collect them anyway if only for just something to throw on the market in the middle of next August hehehe

I don't really see anything there that constitutes what Rare was talking about in terms of creating an item unlike anything players have had access to before.  I'm personally hoping for Holiday Helper style corset tops for the ladies, and white boots (though they already have black boots.. so perhaps black boots with white fur trim?).  The corset top is something that players haven't been able to get yet, but that have existed before for NPCs, and getting them to work for every body type could possibly be the difficulty Rare has been experiencing.  Guess we'll see next week... unless Rare is more evil than we already know and he delays it even further.

This is win as far as I'm concerned. I've been waiting and hoping/praying for a better closed trench, and in White? Well that's even better, considering my character's current wardrobe color scheme. The black one will be good for a change down the line.

Just awesome in general.

If each year gets new ones that is.

Good thing about all of this is that Rarebit said in his ask a question thread that that we can get items from the other christmas events too so slowly there's very nice formal wears sets coming along for people to use

(Can't remember where I read it in this thread too but I've just seen what heels that Persephone has in-game and yeah, they'd be great to have!)
