As the title says this is an old topic that I feel needs to be looked at. Loads of people are strongly agenst this but others are not.
Breaking the limits placed on our minds...
And what I mean by that is just this, level 50 should no longer be able to hold some of us back. There are a select few that could break this limit placed on our minds and yet we are not given the opertunity.
So I purpose a few things be done. So listen up devs cause I'm bout to school you in content.
First, 1 construct should be selected, I purpose yuki since it is the first and should be the last. Or perhaps a section of downtown as a construct where it is always raining. This I think would be better since it needs to have buildings to support a new system of missions.
An area as big as Creston heights placed as a construct. It could be called Downtown Hell or something like that. This place would cost you 1 hundred million to get into and you only have 5 chances to use the key. Why? Because once inside this construct, there will be 5 mission construct npcs hidden around it in buildings. Each npc would want you to do up to 500 missions for them, each one would be a different mission type but nothing really with a story to it. Why would someone want to do that many missions and pay that much to enter an area like this? Well for one thing not only will there be mission contacts all over but you will also have lvl 55+ up to 70 running around this area. Also this area of the game would be gaurded by agents aswell.
Now let me explain how the missions work. Each contact has a set number of missions that must be done to get a item, more like a token. When you complete all of the 5 contacts missions in this truely hostile area and do all of there missions probly somewhere around 2500 missions in this area and you only have 5 chances to go back after being killed. Once a player gets all of these missions done and has all of the tokens, they can then go back into the matrix with them to their archive vender and trade all 5 tokens in for a mission.
This mission can be replayed infinite times and because of this... It will truely allow one of break the limit placed on their minds. The mission itself will consist of 10 parts each part will be alot harder then the last.
Now here is where it gets tricky because our game doesn't work this way right now. Once this mission has been gained a person can gain xp, however, death will make them lose some of it. So if they are truely stronge enough to gain new lvls then this would not be a problem.
The mission itself would go along like this. First is meet the oracle, here the oracle will tell you how Niobe and Morpheus all went beyond their limits and in doing so became so much stronger. Next you will have to dodge lvl 255 agents in a mission area as you attempt to get a disk from the machine mainframe showing how to break the limits they have placed on us all. The third step will be to decode it. You will be told about a strong program that has details on them on how to break the code of the disk so you can see how to gain more levels of awareness. The npc that has this data will be lvl 60 and alone in the mission area. A player must go in alone and kill it. The forth stage would be to go to a vetren npc that has gained a higher understanding of the matrix. He will be lvl 65 Once a player beats this npc they will be given an item that only works in downtown, the mission will end at the 4th stage and once the player activates the item downtown the mission will continue. The 5th stage You will be asked to kill 20 npcs in one mission area all of which are lvl 55s.
The 6th part of this mission would be to fight a lvl 67 npc and kill them. 7th part would be to dodge more npc and hack 3 computers in a mission area. 8 would be slightly different because it will be more pandoras box type then any normal mission. There will be 5 spawns from this box each one harder then the next. All of the npcs will be Agents. Oh and did I forget to mention that while attempting this mission Agents will be after you? And by this I mean they will be chasing you from mission to mission and once each mission is completed Agents will be behind every door in the mission area. Once all 5 spawns of npcs are killed the player will be given another mission key that only works in international. The two final missions are the hardest.
The 9th phase of this mission would be to fight Seraph at lvl 55, he will be given special buffs though, have every style of ma and be able to heal himself 4 times, each time he is close to death he will heal half his health instantly. Once you beat him he will do what most npcs do not, stand back up and tell you to meet him in the final area. The 10th mission will be a lvl 60 seraph that heals him self to full everytime he is close to death up to ten times. Once he is killed you will be told that you are ready and gain half a bar of new xp, hence breaking the limit up to lvl 55.
New content for higher lvls above 50.
All the old styles that were going to go in game will be revamped and placed in at these levels. Also there will be 3 lvl 55 pieces of clothing for now since I cannot think of any others. They would be a pair of White Seraphin shoes, That mask the Hel club gaurd wears. The bulky male one. Looks kinda like dare devils mask. And a trench coat like the one the assassin had only in black.
How's that for alot of content? Now I know people are going to be like "that will never happen!" But it is possible to make all this happen and who knows, it might happen one day if enough people want it.
