*Sighs.* That idiot Merv thinks he can get the Intruder on his side. Fat chance.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I wish him luck. Heh.

We shall see what we shall see... (Interesting title, though.)

Whilst the title does suggest the probable likelihood that the Merv would attempt to gain the Intruder's cooperation, not knowing the Intruders range of abilities could only very slightly mean that 'Induction' may not mean initiation and joining...

However, knowing as we do, The Merv's MO, it wouldn't surprise me if he attempted this...

It wouldn't surprise me if he succeeded somehwat, i mean look what happened with Biern and the Elite Commandos...

He forcibly captured both. I don't think he has quite the power to deal with this one in the same manner.

Flood stated that coercing the Accelerated Man to their side was their goal yesterday. I somehow doubt they'll succeed.

At least Flood knows where to look. I don't know about the Machines or Zion, but I'd say, if this were back to the time of the Key Chase, now we would be in the lead.

Edit: Wow, that was... actually much much easier than I thought it'd be. Can we actually have the Intruder on our side so quickly? Doubt it, but here's to hoping. Now, me, I liked the interaction between the Merv people (+Hypatia/Cerulean) and the Intruder. Mostly I just liked the fact that so little of the Intruder's character was revealed, even after four whole mission phases with him in them. If his big secrets and goals had been brought up right there, I might have kicked myself.

Even his spawns are level 100. Creepy.

This Intruder is far too friendly for my liking.

I love Merv missions.

I gotta believe this guy is gonna exploit the Merv, although I dunno that the Merv cares about it. I think he just wants to be able to say he's on his side.

Nice to see the Intruder in all the phases, it's amazing how with at least 2 chat boxes each phase he can avoid showing off his personality. However, I think you can see his goals. He's trying to find out about something recent.

Also, he's very obviously been around for the earlier iterations of the Matrix, in some form or another. I wonder what he was there for?

Liked all 3 missions this week, they seemed well intertwined. Hopefully we get some answers from the Machines soon.

Actually, it sounded like he'd never been in the Matrix at all before.

Not this version, no.

He seemed to be surprised that the Blood Drinkers had survived for so long, so unless he only has knowledge of the past iterations, it seems like he may have been there.

But I'm probably trying to read into his words too much. Maybe he just has studied a lot of the ancient Matrix history, and that's why he doesn't need it too badly.

As malphas stated, both what he does know and the gaps in what he doesnt know are quite of interest.

Wow! What a surprise to get to see the Intruder face to face so soon! That was the first time I've ever seen him in game SMILEY I wonder what the "Frenchman? I've known a few of those" part meant? Anyway, I thought this guy was going to be really mean, but he seemed to be nice! I took him on a tour to meet Cerulean, Malphas, Ookami, and Hypatia! He liked Cerulean, but it was wierd to see Ookami so uneasy around him! And he definitely seems to know all about lupine and blood-drinkers! He seemed to be okay with Malphas too! Hypatia told him about the Archivist society but he didn't seem too interested SMILEY Poor Hypatia, I felt bad when she told me she though she was doing what we wanted her to do SMILEY I like Hypatia =) Flood doesn't and thinks she was trying to use the intruder for her own purpose! O_O I'm not sure about that myself SMILEY

Hm... The Intruder being puzzled that the Blood Drinkers are still around was intriguing, which leads me to believe he's some very old program, maybe not even one of the previous Ones, and certainly not Neo.
