Seeing that we have the Patcher's Headgear and all the Elite Commando stuff I thought it would be cool seeing the Hacker gloves being used for something. Perhaps another level50 item, which you can get for defeating some dragon?
It's just that these gloves do stand out and it's a shame that they're not used as an actual item.
Ya i wear those gloves allot to hide the ugly level 50 ones. I think some gear for the poor Proxy trees and *poop* may be needed. Something that is hybrid gear, not great at hacks or melee or guns but something that mixes them all to a suitable level.
Although Hacker could use some love to like Porphy said as well.
Get what? The gloves/launcher i have do fit in the tool slot. The vector launcher. Recursion had the glasses and i have no clue what syntax had.
And yes the proxy stuff you typically have to choose one over the other but i don't think you should have to make a choice. They should be more accommodating to the loadout as no one uses it. Then again if no one uses it.... why waste time on it.
Though I agree hackers need some clothing, MAs need them first for their list is the shortest.
As for proxy: You need viral stuff for demons and mel/ball stuff for proxies. There are no individual traits such as proxy-strength %, proxy-speed % and stuff that could be influenced with proxies. Though ... that would be neat.
Naw.. if you'd have something like "Proxy Acc.", "Proxy Damage" etc it would so unbalance the whole system.
I'm just developping ideas.. so since they are "Hacker Gloves" (that's what they are at the moment anyway) it'd help if they had some IS Regen Rate. But then again.. we don't have any gloves that boost your IS Regen Rate, so I can smell some balance-issues.
Agreed, but I would prefer them to add just a little bit of resist to those enhancements. Both sound good to me though Spa. Not much but maybe 25pts to Melle and Ballistic resist ?
Does anyone on Syntax have any descent Hacker gloves?
I cant find any codes for any, but Ive seen them on Vector Marketplace. Cant remember the lvl maybe 38 or 42, they gave some accuracy and resist i remember.
Ive been using Quicksilvers, but switched to lvl 49 barrelhead gauntlets. Give me some initiative and decent resist whislt hackin'.
There's some good collector stuff (off topic a little) for viral clothes.. there's Taggards top for 4% accuracy, some gloves and glasses that give off 2% damage and Accuracy, and there's also a launcher that gives off 15% IS regain, and 3 % accuracy. Now they would be great and very usefull if only they had some resistance added to them..

Yep, I use all of the above, Luciens Launcher , Taggarts etc , but the thing is the resist is the problem here. Now my Area K does fairly well, forget the dragonskin. And as for shirts ive found myself using Pecks shirt, i dunno why but all that regen combined with my launcher or WM's and Sakura dana + Seraphims, ive been lasting forever in PvP. Accuracy pants are a big help as well. Not really after damage as switching to Overdrive in a tight situation helps with that. This probably has alot to do with the way your stats is set up too.
Seems the only thing we are missing is gloves, besides the ones that were mentioned by hanzel. But those are kinda duel usage, I mean, with the melle buffs too.

Spha, you mention gloves here in your post... That you say are from a collector? I must have forgot about something, cuz i dont remember any viral gloves from collectors. Could you please correct me about this?
