I am puzzled as you base your opinion on less than 24 hours of being a member of a faction. You do realize that people have lives outside of the game? RP (in my time in this game) is hit or miss, and depends on the day, and on what given players are actively doing.
MXO isn't WOW, so don't expect more than 20% of our players to be in RP mode for the entire time they are logged in (And I am talking entire player population). Most Diehard RPers are level 50, or Alts that are on from time to time. Everyone else is either busy leveling, or farming for stuff they would like to have.
Have fun with your time in MXO, but please treat those in whatever faction you join with a little more respect than you did us. If you would have communicated your intentions with your char, you would likely have seen some effort on our part to help you with that. Joining a faction, being silent, and just leaving (without saying anything) isn't really "role playing" is it? (unless you are a spy)
