*yawn* another boring patch without much content added. I sometimes wonder why I still play. when does a patch come out that has something worth getting instead of a useless sword or ugly trench coast with not much buffs. I would like to see a patch that doesn't focus so much on mission type o's etc etc... and focus more on content.
Content alone doesn't make for a decent patch, the dev team have worked their asses off for this update, which includes 3 new peices of clothing and an FX reward when usually we only get an FX reward, couple this with a big hotfix coming to sort out bullettime and IL bugs.
Plus every FX reward we've had is only useful for screenshots and for showing off for a bit of time (or if lucky... perpetually). With that, seeing as the sword is only cosmetic, it fulfils the category perfectly. I would prefer a patch which has a healthy mix of bug fixes and content like this one.
...couple this with a big hotfix coming to sort out bullettime and IL bugs.A hotfix is when the game is updated ahead of schedule, usually for the sake of fixing a bug or other problem that cannot be allowed to go on for long if at all.
The right-click menu on PCs has also changed. Details is at the top and Recruit to Mission/Crew are on the right.
What?! Then does double clicking someone go to the Details panel by default? *Runs off to check.*

Yeah, it is also the same for Hostiles but I dont mind, as long as I am not inviting people to a team accidently all the time because of my mouse playing up. Also, I made a thread about it and it feels special ^_^

What about that great hotfix a while back that just added the Data Mining quest?
It fixed two bugs that really didn't matter to much to go for 6 weeks compared to other things we have gone months, even years, with.
Ack, i hates it when stuff is missed in patch notes, i thought something was up when i couldnt double click to shoot people xD
For non-hostiles its an awesome fix, otherwise it's a nasty break. Hope it gets looked at soon.
I reported it to 9mm, the other day. It was annoying me to hell.Ack, i hates it when stuff is missed in patch notes, i thought something was up when i couldnt double click to shoot people xD

GoDGiVeR wrote:Well, that's not what I meant. If they get influenced, THEN added to the base points and the AGAIN the base (with the bonus added) gets influenced, it DOES matter. All boni are added together in the end, the question still is, when are they influenced and when are they added?Oh. Good grief! They're not going to get influenced twice." />
At least, they'd better not get influenced twice...
That's why I demand clarification of bonus influencing and application!
Good stuff - lots to work on - lots of kick a-s-s rewards to go work for, lots of buggy animation fixes.
(Excellent content work Rarebit sweetie! *blowskisses* <3 <3) ![]()
No complaints here! Very good work guys - please keep it up and you'll be bringing life back to the The Matrix.
Still - please keep working on those Nvidia/Vista issues. It's still uber important to keep on that.
Thanks Lots! My subscription $$ will be spent running around doing things for a while at least. Thats what I love to do!
I used to kill with 2 clicks, one button. Now all it gets me is the details of the guy I'm trying to kill. Who's bright idea was it to move details to the top of a right click? That's what ruined the double-click-kill, and I want it back!!
PPPPPPPPllllleeeaaaaassssssse?

Actually, it was made that way so you don't invite people with double clicks. Double clicks didn't do freefire but /invite =/

I remember the Remove Double click Invites thread where people were asking for this change, and I think it's great! No more accidental invites and I have my mouse set up so the thumb button starts close combat and the button for my lil' finger starts freefire....

Also inconvenient when you accidentally attack a red you were trying to talk to on Vector...as, say, the Oracle. =pSo I doubt they're gonna change it back. Just use your + key! Or get a fancy mouse like Vinia.

With an NPC red should pretty much always equal attack. I'm sure the system has some way of diffienciating the two =P
Woah. I've been spotted before, but my operator's never said anything when it happened.Hm...I know it happened a few times while running Merv 1.2 missions, so maybe it only happened with them. I coulda sworn I had the messages on another couple of missions too, but maybe they were just other Merv archive missions that had the Operator responses written in to that specific mission.
so any one know when the animation hotfix is?Check Walrus's Producer's Letter. I think it is on the 6th of December.

If the Hotfix isn't tomorrow or the Thursday after, I would say it would be part of Update 57 yeah.

sorry if that sounded harsh
EDIT: technically Update 57 is in January. The December 13th Update is just for the Holiday event.

I'm interested in seeing this. Is this supposed to be like in the first combat system?
I can already people only use the abs with the highest boni =D
... somehow I can't help but think that PRCS is in the top list...
Not sure what you meant by this.
I am yet to see this. Where is it shown?

The mouse over windows of the Higher level abils show them, also on the Ability loading window info message thing. e.g. Triple Front Kick = Interlock Accuracy Bonus 17

it saddens me to see that time has been spent on typo's, new clothing and to be honest a sword not worthy of its name when i have played this game from start and have used the double click to interlock and now its gone....., also that bugs/sploits like clothing defence and ability defence stacking is still here and has been ccr'd i dont know how many times and they cannot sort, come on soe sort the things that actually mean something to us and don't carpet us with cloths we can't store because of the lack of space ect.

I just found out the hard way that Side Roll Escape no longer works when you are wearing the Overdrive Bandana. Thanks Update 56! Laaaaame!
And that's how it should be! Enrage == NO WAY to leave interlock
