Oh my God!

You're alive!

Thank you for taking the time to post this! SMILEY" />

(PS Quarterly sounds awesome).

(PPS: Any chance this could get posted on the news section of DN1? I would not have found this had I not clicked the Administrator tracker...)

Its nothing like GuildWars. lol.

Agency is a FPS/3rd person  online MMORPG. The screenings at Fanfaire where awesome..and there are some lying around on You tube I believe.

I believe the comment was more related to the layout of the areas rather than anything else. There are some similarities, but not to the degree that GuildWars does things. There will be combat and other activities going on in public spaces but, yes, there will be a good number of instanced areas where you and your crew will do their business.

And, at least for now, it's a 1st/3rd person game. We're going with "online persistent shooter", since it's more of a shared world than a true MMORPG experience. The chances of ever seeing 50 to 100 players in the same area will be slim.

That enough tidbits? SMILEY" />

Walrus i know allot of the Les Enfant Terribles are interested in The Agency and some have already posted beta aps. I personally can't wait to hear more.

Thanks for the update btw.

Hey, nice to read that the graphics and other 'technical' situations are being looked into.
Rarebit's got us covered with the current story, but it's good to hear about things from the other side of the glass, sometimes, since that's always been more or less your domain.
So... Remember to pop over here when it's beta time for The Agency, eh? SMILEY

The similiarities between the higher ups of this place and politicians is mind blowing.

That's all im saying to avoid excessive negativity.

Actually, that's an awful long time to wait. I'll get something out closer to the beginning of 2008--once we're done rehashing the holidays and are settled in for the new year.

Good to hear from "Counsillor" Myers. The 9.1 Episode had me "jacked-in" for several hours - perhaps the most exciting since launch.

Hopefully the holiday event(s) will bring more than just my name as a result of "/who."

#36300357001 11/21/2007 19:51:20 Re:The Matrix Online Producer's Letter
Absolutely brilliant to see another Producer's Letter Walrus, good to hear from you, thought you'd died and gone to the Coral Reef SMILEY" />

But seriously, good to hear about the plans for MxO and as people have said, it just makes me more excited about what's coming for MxO and more happy that we have some more ammo to shoot down anyone telling us this game is dying!

Bring on the Updates!

p.s. Now how about working on some EU focused events or even just EU focused anything? It does tend to feel like we are losing out, even though I am enjoying the in-game items we generally keep missing the LE's and it sucks a bit SMILEY

Hearing from Walrus and the MXO team just reinforces everyone's faith  (mine included)  in this game. The feedback is always welcome!
#36300364548 12/03/2007 21:16:51 Re:The Matrix Online Producer's Letter

It's that Walrus guy I have heard so much about.  I signed up right about when this fellow went out to the other title.  I hear that Mr. Walrus (Odobenus rosmarus)  is THE MAN and is quite good at what he does.

Welcome back Mr. Walrus.  May I offer you some fine and fresh pacific northwest oyster shooters and clams and sea cucumbers?  Walrus love their seafood.

Hope you can bind the team back together boss - I think they desperately need it.

Here's a cartoon - Ren and Stimpy, Save the Walrus!
