I wanted to know if there was a way to get rid of the back ground color on a layer to make it clear. I have been trying to apply a matrix code to a few backgrounds but the results are always that the background becomes darker. I fool around with the opacity and the fill opacity and it helps but just a little. I have tried tinkering with the hue and saturation but it doesn't make much of a difference. last resort was i tried creating a matrix code myself without the black background however the snag i have run into is that there is no "clear" background (this also happens when making rain). Either it's something I am missing or doing wrong, or it just isn't possible. Hope somebody knows a solution!
