Generally the game is running slow, What I know is that the processor isn't being fully used, it doesn't go much above 50-60% the game is generally running about 1/2 a second slower, then it just jumps back up to normal speed. Since my PC is about 3 years old and I do usually leave it on overnight, do you think this could be the processor and would it be cheaper to just build a new PC instead of just buying the processor?
This is something I've been suffering too and for me it started after Patch 53 fix. The game lags a couple of seconds and suddenly it goes normal again. Another problem I'm having is that after patch 55 sometimes I lost the cursor, though the game continues running as normal, responding only to the keyboard. As you my computer is 3 yo and the only change I made recently was changing the power supply, nothing else.
I'm trying to remember (it's been a while since I looked) if my P4 Hyperthreaded processor registers use above 50% or not, I'll have to check next time i'm in game. It could be the game's tied to one processor (or thread) and so will just register as using 50%, but thats just a random stab in the dark at the moment.
