Okay, either max rep is impossible, or my RSI is bugged.

I used to have 127 Machine Rep way back in the day, and then I lost 5 Machine Rep due to a bug in a 1.3 Critical. Yes, you read that right, a 1.3 CRIT.

Ever since then, I have gained 3 rep for a total of 125. It's stuck at 125, and I have done hundreds and hundreds of missions and all the Crits since 1.3 and it has been stuck at 125 rep since who knows when.

What gives!? I know at 125, the chance to receive a rep point is a very slim chance, but you'd think I'd reach 127 rep by now...

Unless something changed in the past few months, its still possible - I'm at max Machine rep.

/ccr it and include a screenshot of receiving the rep but the total not increasing. Use /whereami before screenshooting to give the CSRs more information.

Yeah i got the bogus rep point problem too, it would say in the mission pane tha i had recied one , but when i checked it with /reputation , my total would be the same, although just last week i finnaly gained another rep point for a total of 126 rep, but there was a 2 year gap in between points 125 and 126 and that was with plenty of missions done in a manner of diffrent way, from a whole pile (20-25+) one after the other to just doing maybe 1 in a day.

i've had a similar problem. i was at 105 zion rep a few months ago. Then i noticed later that same day, that i was down to 102 rep. (after just doing archives). Then finally it went up. Went up to 107 after just doing 1 single standard assassination mission! but since then i still havent been able to raise it any higher. Plus i have only got one "meeting with Niobe" mission, and that was the first one you recieve. i havent had one in 90 or so Rep points. I've tried every district, but it still doesnt show up! ?

Until rep is worth more than your org alignment, I wouldn't stress this too much. Mine has been at 112 throughout the last sixty missions or so.

Would it be too much to ask for a rep overhaul, considering its actually supposed to have some factor within this game? I mean, missing out on the latter crits isn't much of a terrible thing, considering word gets around quickly. T(here's not much within the missions themselves that you can't just run through in your mind...)

Reputation should definitely weigh more in live events, in fact... perhaps it should be gained through more means than just the typical mission process?

I hate it...it's been a few months since I've seen a rep point myself, I'm at 123. It's driving me bonkers.

Stuck at 126 for years. Missions hate me, so I don't care about it anymore.

Aside from a critical mission or the occasional Pandora's Box, I try not to do missions unless I really have to.

Your character isnt' broken, the chance of getting the last few points of rep to the max is very very very small.

I had/have 4 characters with max rep. It's not impossible but I do more missions than anyone I know.

The thing is, now that I'm level 50, I'm not going to be grinding regular missions just to gain 2 rep, so I just have to be lucky and hope I get some when I do Crits.

I've just concluded that I'm not going to be able to get max rep now that I'm lvl 47. I'm on 110 now and frankly I'm not going to go through the effort of trying to get it all the way to the max. There's no real insentive though is there?

You can't really blag about it, like I've seen some people in Mara do (you know who you are ) the only thing I know of that relies on the rep are the org construct keys right?

I thought my RSI was bugged cause I was on 125 rep and got a hell of a lot of Bogus rep aswell. After probably 6 months it went to 126, I'm not sure when it finally became max, I was just running missions one day and noticed.

Conclusion: Yes it is incredibly frustrating getting Bogus Rep and being trapped on 125 Rep, it should probably be made easier to gain reputation, but your RSI probably isn't bugged.

Nah, no benefit but seeing "Maximum". When HCFrog was working on Org abilities, having max rep was needed for the level 5 version, but now that they are not being released, it doesn't matter.

I always liked Chuui's idea of a guanteed rep point for every crit (maybe every 2) you do.

I think the minuscule chance of gaining reputation should be cumulative. Say its a 0.05% chance of going from 125 to 126 every mission, then it should cumulate every mission you do when you are on 125 rep. That way you will eventually get to max rep if you do enough missions, cause right now theoretically it's possible (And seems extremely likely) to never get to max rep (And most people will attest that this is true).
