I don't recall when this happened, it was just recently, but my shades took abit of damage and went half green. I thought it was one of the invincible items like formal gloves?

If those are actually from Beta, I'm fairly certain that they can be damaged, but repaired an infinite number of times.
Beta items given out by the CSRS have one purity dot, decay, and can NOT be repaired.
I kept accidentally pvping with my beta shades and they also lost some purity.
my shades are in the same state, thats why I'm wondering.
I've managed to successfully repair my beta boots and shirt a couple of times and every time
the items appears good as new. I haven't got any Beta item as a prize, so I can't say if they
can be repaired too, though I'd love to get a jacket to try it.
