Operatives,

Purtroppo, the simulacrum we had constructed to break the neural encryption on the data captured from Zion's mainframe proved insufficiently similar to Morpheus, despite the most thorough attempts by operatives to expose it to situations and experiences that would have been familiar to the terrorist.

Although this failure was disappointing, we are already working diligently on other means of accessing the data. Those who rebel against the System will not escape.

Efficientemente,

Agent Pace
System Liaison

I wish I could have been apart of this, It looked kick *CENSORED*

That sim is so flawed, I feel sorry for it. What were the Machines *THINKING* when they crafted it??

((Utterly *GREAT* use of RSI masks for this event!))

#36300335962 10/10/2007 21:51:11 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07
I can't believe you managed to capture Trinity in this position...

*mind explodes*

omg you quoted my typo!

-_-

Edit: I remember Trinity kicking the guy into the wall, it matches that picture.  But does Seraph do a flip in the scene?  I forget.

Nother edit: Wait, he runs on the ceiling doesn't he?  h4x!

I think I got Seraph a little better:

Hawt Stuff right there!

didnt notice the trinty but the seraph was most epic

#36300335975 10/10/2007 21:59:50 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07
Thankyou to everyone who participated in this operation.

Your continued efforts are vital to the progression of the Machine organization.

#36300335977 10/10/2007 22:01:48 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07

*sighs*  It should have been given more time.  Work and effort gone to waste simply because the simulacrum wouldn't access the system at that one moment and Pace was too eager.  Oh well, there are other ways and sometimes failure is required on the pathway to achieving a goal.  There is little we can do now but continue forward.

(( While the end was a disappointment, this event was great fun to plan for and play through.  Excellent work, everyone!  You all did marvellously!. ))

#36300336005 10/11/2007 00:06:42 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07
You win some, you lose some. Move on and try something else despite the set back. Good work everyone otherwise.

(Some of the Morpheus' Sim's one liners were just made me lol so hard. "Would that include this red pill?" And despite being suppostively drugged and tied down - "Need an exit." "There is a scaffold outside." Very good event and a lot of fun.)
#36300336010 10/11/2007 01:44:02 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07

Although our primary goal wasn't realized it would be incorrect to consider this operation a failure. Instead, perhaps, a learning experience.

Good show Machinists.

(Yes Travi it was a bit of a shock for Morpheus to break out 'Would that include this redpill?' instead of the intended 'Would that include a bullet from this gun?' Couldn't help but ask...[Team Chat] Lucadello: Is he...broken? Should have expected something like that, considering Vogt said he was giving odd responses XD)

#36300336039 10/11/2007 04:00:44 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07
Wow... This event was enjoyable the entire time through to read -- I can only imagine it was even better to have been there.
And the Trinity mid-air pose is just amazing. Really great idea for an event.. Great work to all those who came up with the idea!

#36300336058 10/11/2007 05:34:33 Re:[8.3.1] Revert his state of mind - Syntax - 10/9/07

((That has to be one of the coolest events ever!!  With the exception of the fact that Trinity actually wore a Black Arasiki Vinyl Dress, it was spot on.  However, I know that there's no existing model designed as such so the EPNer was closest.

Job well done guys.))

It should have been expected given this was merely a copy made with limited resources.  It's a shame to say but the General outdid himself with his copy.  Perhaps it can be of use?

Whoa...

Looked awesome. Wish I could've been there. Plus, that Seraph flip photo kicked some serious *CENSORED*.

You just never know if you're RP wife is a psychologically insane IC axe murderer. :/

(( Yeah, as for the costumes, you could have either chosen one or created your own with clothing/RSI pills/etc.  If you asked for Trinity or Neo costumes, you were given generic EPN mob masks which are perfectly acceptable, though not always true to what Neo and Trinity where wearing at that moment.  In our scene, the deja va stairwell and then Morpheus getting captured, we needed Apoc, Switch and Cypher.  Apoc was dressed using just a generic Mero guard mask.  Cypher and Switch were actually a custom combination of clothing and RSI pills.  Great fun indeed.  SMILEY" width="15" height="15" />

Here's a cast shot we took after our scene:  (Miyakoi as the glitch kitty was not shown in the recap, as she was actually off scene due to not receiving a mask)

I must say, Yasamuu did an excellent job of playing Persephone, even off screen later that night.

Guh. You weren't supposed to talk about that.

It was a great event though, seriously. Fantastic. I love the screens too, nostalgia ftw.

I didn't see what being referenced by the Trinity comment at first, but it was soooo worth it when I found it. Perfect replication.

Epic event and epic screenies I gotta say.
By the looks it didn't fail due to poor materials or any such but because certain scenes were expected but not played out.  If you look at Morpheus' dialog you can see he's actually speaking as if he were in situations which occured earlier in the movies.  The clearest example is the 'Deja Vu' Scene where Morpheus says "The cubicle across from you is empty." indicating his mental state was ready for helping Neo escape the Agents at Metacortex.

Possibly... but I believe the requirements, as Syntax Machinists understood them, included the fact that they had to be events in which he himself was present inside the simulation and taking part in. The Metacortex escape was proposed but I think was decided not to be used due to Morpheus not being present. The idea was to immerse Morpheus in a situation from his past....

((Personally I think Rare had some fun with the dialogue...

Morpheus: Would that include this red pill?

Genius!))
