^_^ thanks. Just really do wish more content of this sort that really does require teamwork variations and not just the old "load up Viral and have a Healer in tow then lay waste" variation to be more alive out about and around. Can thank Eq for all those Raids I been on to actually think this Teamwork method out. and also the Dev's of MxO for the /Assist command and being able to use it in a macro just like in Eq

I mean. Wasteland Corrupter = *CENSORED* Near Heavy Raid Group Like Content to take the Corrupter down with every time (well unless someone just wastes life and gets every last bit of needed Insecticide to solo the Corrupter

White Hallway Commando's on Loose = Very good thoguht out use of the White Hallways and also is a good Group Content w/ the needed game plan strat's and not as already said "Load up viral and have a healer in tow and lay waste"

Have yet to check out the simulacrum's in the Org Hideouts to see if it is more of a Raid type or group content type. But given the sim itself is around the 100 level area may take a good thought out group or a nothing but viral spamming raid party to take it down to see what goodies it has now

But yes. I'm still doing various combinations currently in the Hallways hoping I enter a Square Hallway Room soon enough. but as i said whomever gets the info to me in a post on here and after i do the combination to be confirmed itil get added and credited to whom had that specific combination.

Also. Going to get some screens of the male stat Commando Equipment to show what both the male and female versions of the equipment have. Both male and female items should have same things on em if not more info the better ^_^

Helmet is simply LRLRL. Five rooms until you're at the square hallway.

Hmm think Havo may have got the boots jumbled then. But going to confirm both then. with a group of course.and yes Nicksie your hallway combo is first. Always say dont give all the credit to one. Even if the person doing almost all credit is a showoff (( hehe no offense Havocide i hope XD )) cause gloves combo already up on list pretty much was first room with a group i entered and it was with Havocide givin the direction to that room and it was the glove drops.

Also cropped screen shots will be in next update for both male and female items with buffs and the lil image icon showing what they look like. (if possible HUGE CREDIT will go to one with a male or female full set and have it equipped then get a few screen shots of the full suit from different angles for both gender types. or just the gender type of the character anyone plays and its full suit version with different angle shots would be nice.)

@ Yasa - Ty for the pant combo will get it confirmed this morning sometime soon but for now it will go to the main combination for pants from hallways.

@ Zane - While a team of howitzers can be or do dandy for some. As I said. It just takes the whole teamwork and strategy out of all of this update. I mean course each Howie doing there chain AoE DMG can end it quick and be best to have a healer in tow for in case. But that throws the fun and teamwork right out the window. And thats my problem with most ppl in MxO. People dont realize there is about 4 or 5 weeks till next Update to go to update 56 , 57 , 58, etc. and people just rush through the updates and say after all said and done in just a week if not less. "More plz or i cancel my subscript before next update #" and its not even into half of the second week more than likely.  People just dont take the time to savor updates and new content or goodies liek such and just want to "be the first to get it all" saddly there is no thing like EqPlayers that shows whom gets what item first and keeps track of statistics for the player. So why bother rushing it. Savor it is what id say

Meh I been feeling that particular way for savor and enjoy what is givien or received for as long as possible. But with 13 Everquest Expansions think I savored enough and when Secrets of Faydwer gets released early next month (first or second week of the month of november) and the level cap going to 80 and me still trailing as a Wizard at level 68 for those 13 expansions so far and even a small bit of the open open beta before commercial release. Id learn that its best to be glad and savor what is at hand and not to things the fast method.

Besides doing it in a faster method / way leads to ppl being bored in MxO and gets them thinking likely two weeks into an update like update 55 they want to cancel there subscription =/

Whilst I agree this isn't soloable, it is certainly doable with 2 people. I just got the jacket by soloing the first 2 waves by pulling one aside one at a time only needing to use speed tactics and pistol whips and using a tactics booster on the 3 chev lvl55's. Luckily for me a Utility Master came along at the start of wave three. He used an upgrade sim and his handgun. It did take a while to kill the lvl 60 but we did it.

With 2 duelists, rolling out when necessary, I don't think there would be a problem.

I did it solo twice with MA, all you gotta do is drag one by one into a corner and kill 'em. It does take a bit to kill the lvl60, just gotta state them and give them a Wooden Dummy Drill and Dim Mak Strike. SMILEY

It's not ideal and you have to be fairly good at soloing to begin with but it seems that, although taking some time, it is possible to Solo the halls.... I was probably lucky, I only experienced one EC using Tomo Nage but it only did 1 dmg, it wasn't the Squad Leader tho'

Yeah, it wasn't something I wanted to do, but I needed one more item and said screw it. It is possible though.

Destroyer is your friend.
#36300334232 10/07/2007 02:32:50 Re:Teamwork Guide for The Commando Items in Update 55
This can be solo'ed but I think the most efficient combination would be one MA and one Patcher.  The MA can pull and interlock while the Patcher can provide Upgrades, Heals and free fire.  I have to agree with Trayen and Co though, Howie/Destroyer teams vaporise anything.
#36300340475 10/20/2007 17:51:06 Re:Teamwork Guide for The Commando Items in Update 55

Solo'd for the boots as a gunfighter no problem. Their ballistic damage is low and they don't hit well if you have high defense stats. Only occasional melee attacks in interlock did substantial damage and even so, I rarely had to use health pills. I also did this for the helmet with the help of a level 25 providing range fire support to get states more. The 60 takes a while simply because of high damage resistance, more frequent states helped shorten this.

Takes a while to get it done solo pulling them one by one. But then a group takes a while too if looting is rotated (did this for the goggles) so it's about the same amount of time either way IMO.

Nice loot in here too. Phat info drops and high level enhanced stuff. This is a lot of fun no matter how you slice it!

Yea sorry Avalod but its really not as difficult as you make it sound. The first time I even went there me and Vesuveus walked all over the commandos with just the two of us. I was loaded as MA and he was loaded as rifleman.

Countinous stream of WDD+dim mak/ki charged foot sweep+ki charged punch+ three round burst if I remember correctly. (o and sky high kick...duh)

Yet the reason why team work based content is subject to those who defile it.. This right there in quotes thank you.. Think its time i throw out my cards for more difficult team content with rewards as good as commando gear but this time for the MA's. I mean if people saying its that easy then *poop* make it what is was intended to be overall and not some solo fest for loot..

So, bring 4 people with loads that don't work that well to farm Elite Commando gear is the message you're telling us in a teamwork guide for the commando gear???  I thought guides were supposed to show you the best way and/or multiple ways to farm a particular item.  So now we're ruining the game by being efficient or using any other mixture that could possibly prove to be less time-consuming...

When you state for the strategy that you need 4 people minimum to stand a chance, this is a pretty bold statement since, as seen before, you CAN in fact solo this.  Not only that but I myself have done a 2-man team with much ease that didn't take much time at all.  Now you're just making untrue statements and responding in a hostile manner when people prove that you are wrong.  If this is really meant to be a helpful guide you might want to have the reader's interest in mind and see that they have no idea about this subject and just want to know everything they can know to help them out.  And let's face it, how easy is it going to be to round up a 4-man team at any time of the day for potentially a new player...

Good intentions with the guide, but if you're going to post something like this you have to either know/have tried every way of doing this or be open to other people's suggestions (especially the ones that clearly work) and possibly even include them in it...

With that said you've done an awesome job of providing directions, explaining the process and providing screenshots of the actual items, with, what I found to be very helpful, a summary of all the total buffs you receive from wearing the entire outfit.

I agree with Tenshi here, I also agree that Teamwork is good to have but the ones I team with tend to do the hardest work with the fewest people, we do Box 4s with 2 people, we are planning on getting a Tengu Spawn (Data Mine) and doing it with 4 people, 3 of us went in a small room in the Bathary wearhouses so the Corrupted would come in and we went nuts collecting Decaying Codes (3x3=9 level 53s constantly spawning).  This task isn't really brilliant with too many people as it is quick but there are many other options for Teamwork and fewer people in the team require better teamwork, get a Zion in on the game and get some System Tie Clips.... lots to do SMILEY
