Yay for our team!  I guess ...

I'm getting a little annoyed at the operator's dumb comments on Pace.  Mainly because;1. I myself am female, and 2. They are inane and stupid, and 3.  I don't ever think about Pace that way.  To be honest she just kinda annoys me all around (from the begining),  but whatever.  I certainly don't have any glandular excitment when Pace is around ... SMILEY

I am getting tired of Gray bitching me out about the Op's lude comments and talking to me like I am the one who is always trying to hump Pace's leg ... so to speak.  Because I am most certainly NOT!  Ick!  I don't swing that way - sorry. SMILEY   I know this is a more or less a Boy's game, and boys are the biggest percentage of players - but stop with the Pace drooling already!!

I wonder - I do however have a thing for the guy Agents.  How would Gray react if it where someone like me who was always drooling over the male Agents and him (in particular).  Well, because I am - more or less.  But at least I keep it to myself and know how to behave around them.

((Rare - I think you are too in love with your own cutesy femme-agent character.  She ain't that great - honestly!))

Read it a little closer. Gray wasn't reacting to *your* glandular response, or the operator's (and that poor guy only made a feeble joke/complaint about Pace probably going for "brainy" types--cut him some slack ;). But if you didn't talk to everyone a few times in the lab phase you might not have caught what caused Gray to make those comments.

Hey ArchAngel is in there, very nice.

Still - my glands do not get excited when Agent Pace is in the room.  Not the way most boy players think about Pace anyway.

My glands only get excited when a male Agent is in the room.

For someone like me - riding a guy Agent is like riding a sybian.

"She doesn't think men are better than machines."  SMILEY

Although I separate Gray from the others because I don't really want Gray - blech! He's like ... my boss (or something) and  that would just make it really awkward.  But any other male Agent will do just nicely.

How's that for a joke for you?

Kinda on the reverse perspective isn't it?  There are quite a few female operatives that have a "thing" for male agents.  It's just we don't necessarily think of Pace in the same fashion because she is in a femme-shell (so to speak).  And the Op's occasional boyish comments about humping Pace's legs (figuratively speaking), are kind of annoying when you are a female player - as you can now see my point, from the girl player's perspective. SMILEY

Because the Operator guy (Link) is more or less supposed to represent the thoughts of the player,  as I am to understand it.  And when your a girl player - well his comments in regards to constantly drooling over Pace are getting ... annoying.  I don't know exactly how one might write around that - but that is my point here.  The same goes for other characters always drooling over Agent Pace.   I realize that similar comments about male agents might be a little ... weird to male players.  But really - it is just equally weird as a female player to have to put up with Link's annoying Pace drooling all the time.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other than that little issue - I think the story is going very well.  Yey for our team!  We squashed old Zion!  May the Machines inherit the Earth.

I don't think I'll ever be able to look at another agent in the face again without blushing, thanks Dark! SMILEY

I don't have too much of a problem with the operator lusting over Pace, but as Dark says, why should we get the brunt of Gray's reaction. Admittedly I was out of the area before I realised what he had said and I had not clue why he'd said it. It's a shame that the operator (game mechanics) can't have different wording depending on whether the operative is male or female (more work for Rare!) 'cause I'm sure he'd tone his.... desires down a bit if he was conversing with a woman about her.

This thread is rated 'M' for Mature.

I have been immortalized! (A year later) Hooray! But my accomplishment is diminished by the fact that Dezreki gets immortalized for the second time in the same mission. SMILEY

Wow. I came here to look at the mission Archangel got immortalized in, and learned I'm in *two*?!

Rare, you're trying to get me to stay, aren't you?

Danielle Wright infiltration mission LE thread, which I'm pleased about, but having my name scorched into permanent game lore is something special!

Two?! You beat me! SMILEY

Well, actually, I could be referenced vaguely in a second mission, but the 'Proc' on one of the computers could either mean Procurator or Process. SMILEY

Link is only the operator for the training program when you first make a character in the Matrix SMILEY After that, there is a different little picture to represent the operator SMILEY Link would be tired if he was the operator for every player!

And I think the operator just represents the operator and his own thoughts, not mine =P

Agent Gray gave me the news that Zion was destroyed!! He also said the mainframe virus found some kind of important data! One of the Agents with Gray told me how everything happened in Zion.. the Cypherites!! They said one group hijacked the gate, and another Cypherite named silenci0 set off some other kind of explosion in command by sneaking in :O He said the sixth capture of Zion has been the most efficient yet! Gray told me they found some kind of list of three year old RSI signatures, which would let them lock onto people's signals in Zion, and also get into Zion buildings in the Matrix! But, it is locked, and only brainwaves from Lock or Morpheus can open it! He thinks the Machines can build a Morpheus program to mimic Morpheus though.. isn't there already one of those? SMILEY He also told me about the missing Commander Lock, and that he is probably dead because they couldn't find him in Zion! Gray did finally mention Morpheus' already existing sim, but he wouldn't work, because he would have to be willing to help! THe brainwaves have to be a certain type of someone willing :O To make the Morpheus sim, the Machines need some information on Morpheus Zion might have around!

The place I was sent to had Zion guards, but after beating them we got some data on Morpheus off of the computer! Gray said to take it to a lab where Agent Pace would be waiting!

At the lab, two of the workers were talking all about building the Morpheus sim out of data.. I didn't understand most of it, but I think he was trying to tell me, if they want the sim to have the real Morpheus personality, the more information on Morpheus we can find and use, the closer to Morpheus it will act! The other one didn't seem to agree... and I think he said that they need the General's sim to be more accurate? He was harder to understand SMILEY I gave the data to Agent Pace, who said the Morpheus sim they are working on seems to be going well, but they have more tests to run! She invites me to go see Gray for some of the testing SMILEY She also said she was happy to hear about Zion being destroyed.. and was sort of graphic about it! She wished she had been there, but the video was satisfying to watch! She also said she has never seen a real large robot, and called her body weak, and it is challenging to work with it.. strange things to hear from her!!! Gray got a little upset with the operator for speculating about things that don't really matter.. like what kind of guys Pace is interested in :O After that he seemed to straighten up SMILEY

Of course there was the hackable computer here also with the cool stuff mentioning the players in it SMILEY How neat! Gray was here, he said the program was ready and they'd like my insight on it.. and there he was! Morpheus! SMILEY The sounds from him were great! I loved hearing them! Gray said the responses vary from what they wanted, but maybe operatives can sway him to act the right way SMILEY Gray said once they get the program checked out, they will try to unlock the archive of the RSI signatures!
