The following is a conversation held today between MissArafna, leader of Sons of Liberty, and myself.

Khepril: Ok. The way this works with yourself is going to be a little bit different than what I'd be doing with any of your operatives. As you're the faction leader, I'll be asking you questions both about yourself and your faction.
MissArafna:Thats what I expected from you.
Khepril: The first question is just to check things over with you. Was there any questions you wanted to ask me about how the whole application process works? Anything that wasn't clear or maybe you wanted explaining more?
MissArafna: So far I read your post on DN1 everything is clear.
Khepril: Ah good. Either way, as you're the faction leader, you can feel free to ask me about anything regarding your application at any time.
MissArafna: I will do so if something shows up.
Khepril: Good, good. What you'll find too is that any information I want your faction knowing about I'll be sending to you here using the email system.
Khepril: I'll normally send things out to your operatives anyway, yet it'll be up to you to check that they all do get whatever I send out.
MissArafna: Sure. I keep an Eye on my Operatives all the time to secure everyone is up-to-date.
Khepril: So things like notices for up-coming operations and intel reports and things like that are things that I'll all send out here within the Matrix. I don't post details normally on the data node one network for security for things of that nature.
MissArafna: Yep. Need to be secure that no Cyph or Machines gets hand on our Information.<br>
Khepril: Exactly.
Khepril: Even if I do put something on there, I'll still inform people of that here within the Matrix just to keep things organised.
Khepril: Right, now onto the fun questions.
Khepril: Firstly, a few things about yourself.
Khepril: How long has it been since you've been awakened now?
MissArafna: You should never ask a woman about her Age? But i will answer you *giggle*. Im awakened more than a Month now.
Khepril: Don't worry, I'm not going to be asking you your age, but you are looking as beautiful as ever.<br>
MissArafna: *shy*
Khepril: So, since you've been awakened, have you always supported EPN and Zion or has it been a more colourful history?
MissArafna: Nothing colorfull in my history. Got awakened by Zion and never spent a thought on choosing another path.
Khepril: That's always good to know. I've got no problem about people's pasts in EPN, so long as they want to work with us now and believe strongly in our ideals.
Khepril: How long has it been since you decided that you wanted to build up your own faction?
MissArafna: May be you remember that a was a part of the "The Black Market". Things didnt work out as i wanted, so i choose to take the Sczepter in my hand and builded up this Faction. Gathering Operatives i know from the the struggle against the Machines.
Khepril: Good, good. It was a shame with The Black Market, they had a lot of good people, yet times move on quickly here.
MissArafna: At the Moment "The Black Market" is only a shadow of what is was once.
Khepril: Very true.
Khepril: Well, what made you think about wanting your faction to join EPN?
MissArafna: Belief. I cant live with what Zion is doing. For me it is clear that the only way to bring back a future to all humans is to follow the Path of Neo.
Khepril: It's always good to hear that from a faction leader. Belief in what we do is all important for EPN. We may have slightly different personal ideals and goals, yet we all work with a common purpose. It's what makes us so strong when we're all together.
MissArafna: Personal Ideals and Goals is what us apart us from Machines. They can only do what they are programmed too. So its good in fact.
Khepril: Very true.
Khepril: Well, in terms of your faction, what is it that you want to aim for as a faction in EPN? Is it more known for your combat skills, information gathering, assisting other operatives or is it more of a mix of everything?
MissArafna: Goals can change over time, as you get more enlightend. As far as I would answer your Question with " We do a mix of everything." Combat Skills needs to be trained, without information we are lost, assisting Operatives needs to be done.
Khepril: That's good to know.
Khepril: I very generally don't like a faction to just be one thing, it's always good to see that they cater for different operatives, as you pointed out, we're not machines. We all have our own aims here.
MissArafna: A new Awakened needs Guidance. If we dont do it, someone else will do. In worst Case .. a Machine.
Khepril: Yes, exactly.
Khepril: Well, now onto a little bit more about yourself.<br>
MissArafna: Sure.
Khepril: First question's a big one. How would you see yourself as a leader? What do you think your strengths and weaknesses are?
MissArafna: My strengths and weaknesses. I would call myself a calm and patient Leader. Always trying to keep things in balance. Sharing my attention to anyone who needs it. Weakness ? Hm Hard. May be that im not so experienced as others are. But thats a fact I'm working on everday.
Khepril: Well answered. The thing about experience in EPN is that it does vary, yet we're all here to help each other out. We all do have our own strengths and weaknesses yet there's always other people that will balance that out.
Khepril: For yourself again, if there's one thing you'd like to achieve as a leader or just as an operative with your time here, what would it be?
MissArafna: A Goal to achieve for me. Meet Neo if possible. Learning what i can from him. As Leader ... setting up a faction that is doing his part under the Flag of EPN.
Khepril: Good, alright.
Khepril: Well, there's one more question I want to ask. It's a bit vague this, yet it's always good to get different peoples views on it. How would you sum up what EPN means to you?
MissArafna: EPN means to me believing in what Neo believes. Following his Path in every term. To free all human from the Slavery, setting up a World where is everyone free to make their decission.
Khepril: Good, alright.
Khepril: Well, I've asked everything that I wanted to, is there anything you wished to ask me?
MissArafna: I think at the Moment, there is no question you could answer.

Khepril: Hello Nerathas.
Nerathas: i will take a seat, too ok?
Khepril: Oh yes, please feel free to sit.
Khepril: Now, this isn't going to be anything stressful, I'm just going to ask you a few things about yourself and what you think about EPN.
Nerathas: yes, ok sure
Khepril: Alright, well first the easier stuff. The first thing I want to know about is your history.
Khepril: So, how long have you been awakened for?
Nerathas: Ok, mh I'm free since 4 weeks
Nerathas: Rashahd, a Crew Captain from Insurgence gave me the red pill
Khepril: Yikes, you progressed fast then huh?
Nerathas: yeah, i did my best
Khepril: So then between being with Insurgence and now with Sons of Liberty, you've supported EPN for the main time that you've been awakened?
Nerathas: Yes, but I lost the contact with Rashahd, i don't know where he is
Nerathas: I talked with Sputnik, one of the Insurgence leaders about my crew change
Nerathas: She said it's all fine and i told here that we want to help EPN again with this new faction
Nerathas: I think it was the right way to join this new crew because i do lots of things with the Sons of Liberty Members
Khepril: Well good. It's good that you've kept friendly with members from Insurgence as even though you're not in their faction anymore, we all work together on major operations.
Khepril: Yes, and helping out your members or other EPN operatives is always encouraged.
Nerathas: Yes, i'm doing my best to keep the contact with the other EPN Members
Khepril: You'll find things like that are vital with myself, as I'll occasionally do little bits and pieces with another operative and not send out an email here about it, so you'll find out by talking to them about it.
Nerathas: yes, i guess thats the best way to do it
Khepril: Right, now that we've got that side out of the way, I was wondering what are your thoughts about EPN? What does it mean to you?
Nerathas: I believe in the things that Neo did and i will try to continue this way.
Nerathas: it's a shame for me that i never met Morpheus
Nerathas: but maybe he will return
Nerathas: i hope that he will return and maybe NEO, too
Khepril: Yes, it's something we all hold close to our hearts.
Khepril: What are your main aims in EPN? Do you want to be known for your combat skills, if you're skilled with finding out information, or like you said before in helping out other members in their own tasks?
Nerathas: maybe i combination of both. i will do my best to help EPN in all ways like getting important informations, helping other EPN Members to fight agains the cypherites. But i also want to help other members like Rashahd did with me
Nerathas: before this meeting, i did some missions with a new redpill of our faction
Khepril: Ah, that's good to know.
Khepril: EPN is only as strong as every one of us who works together. We help each other as often as we can and though doing that we'll always be strong.
Nerathas: yeah, thats my way of thinking
Nerathas: and it's also the reason why i progressed so fast
Nerathas: because other people helped me
Khepril: One more question moving on from that is if there's one thing that you'd like to be a part of achieving with EPN what would it be?
Nerathas: mhhh difficult question. i want to freeing bluepills like NEO did, show this them the real world

Khepril: What made you change from working for the Frenchman?
HunkAk47: i want to fight for same goals like neo
HunkAk47: for the freedom,for zion till the end

Khepril: Alright, the big question. What does EPN mean to you?
HunkAk47: epn means to me following the path of neo and beliefing his words

Khepril: If I was to ask you what is your greatest strength and your biggest weakness, what would they be?
HunkAk47: i hope it was of interesting for u
HunkAk47: if it a big group of machines there
HunkAk47: but i dont care about the death
HunkAk47: i would die for zion and for morpheus
Khepril: Well that's good to hear. Our beliefs give us strength, as does working with each other.

Khepril: Firstly, what are your main aims in EPN? Do you want to be known as a good fighter, or a gatherer of information or someone that helps people?
Khepril: What would you basically want to aim for?
HunkAk47: my important targets r save new bluepills and teach they my arts
HunkAk47: and if they have the power maybe we can win this war
Khepril: Good, alright.
HunkAk47: i cant look no more like the mechs using the bluepills like a battery
Khepril: Well, you mentioned helping to awaken bluepills then but is there one thing you'd like to see happen in your time with EPN?
HunkAk47: i would like to retrieve neos bodys in the future and bring it back to where it belongs
Khepril: Yes, that's certainly something I think we'd all like to see happen.

The following is a conversation held yesterday between IVAN195, a Captain for Sons of Liberty, and myself. Sadly for me, my skill at using other languages from my own isn't all that great. For this, MissArafna kindly stepped in to act as my translator for Ivan, getting his responses within their faction broadcast, which is why the responses to these questions come from her.

Admittedly, this was a shorter interview than the others as it would have been difficult for all of us to keep on going, so I just made sure to get the main points.

Khepril: Ok, first question for you. How long have you been awakened for now?

Khepril: The next thing is what does EPN mean to him?
MissArafna: EPN means to him fighting the Machines in their effort to keep the Matrix as it is.
Khepril: Ok, that's good to know.
Khepril: What are your main aims in EPN? Do you want to be known for your combat skills, if you're skilled with finding out information or helping other people out?
MissArafna: The first thing for him is improving his Combat Skills Right after that comes helping People out and gathering Information.
Khepril: Alright, that's good.
Khepril: One more question moving on from that is if there's one thing that you'd like to be a part of achieving with EPN what would it be?
MissArafna: Showing all the Blue Pills who want to know, what is the Matrix and freeing them if they want. Further if they like to, showing them the way of Neo.
Khepril: Alright, that's a very good answer.
Khepril: Ok, that's pretty much all I wanted to ask. Is there anything that Ivan wanted to ask me before I go?
MissArafna: He got no Question left.

Alright, unless the information I have is incorrect, that concludes the interview stage for Sons of Liberty. Considering that I don't speak german myself, they were all very helpful and understanding (and equally patient with me).

The good thing about doing these is that you do get a good beat on each of them. We're not all programmed robots, you can see even in a small faction like this, there's differences between all of them. Yet, through all of that is a belief in what Neo did for us and a determination to continue forwards.

MissArafna: I know what you are feeling. Something like everything seems unreal ?
LukeJohnson: Yeah, like it doesn't really matter?
MissArafna: Sure. Like all you do does not change anything.
LukeJohnson: Yeah. I'm not sure why myself. I guess you think things like this when your life isn't going anywhere.
MissArafna: Ever wanted to change something in your life ?
LukeJohnson: I dunno really, I guess. I just feel like there's something more.
LukeJohnson: Something that's just out of my reach, you know? Something big.
MissArafna: I understand. May be there is something bigger happening behind your Eyes.
LukeJohnson: Yeah... you sound like you've felt the same at times...
MissArafna: I did. Ever recognized something unusual ? Something you can´t realize ?
LukeJohnson: I dunno really. Everytime I think I see something that doesn't quite look right out of the corner of my eye...? By the time I turn to look it's gone.
MissArafna: It leaves a strange feeling i guess.
LukeJohnson: Yeah...
MissArafna: Ever feeled like someone is watching over you ?
LukeJohnson: Erm... I'm not sure really.
MissArafna: Ever met Guys from the Government. Wearing Black Suits mostly.
LukeJohnson: We once had this raid done on our offices as there was someone working for us that they said was secretly a terrorist. It was scary.
MissArafna: A terrorist? You knowed him ?.
LukeJohnson: No, he was working in accounting.
LukeJohnson: I never speak to any of those guys normally.
MissArafna: So you already realized something strange is going on.
LukeJohnson: This guy came in and he said he was Agent Miller, yet when he spoke it was... cold. You know, like he wasn't quite human or something, it really freaked me out at the time but that was about a year ago now.
MissArafna: Agent Miller. A Guy from the Govenment. If i would tell you there is something going on you didnt realize yet. Would you be interested in knowing what it is ?
LukeJohnson: What, you mean like there's some big conspiracy going on or something? Cool, yeah! What do you mean?
MissArafna: Sure. May be there is something like a big Conspiracy going on. What would you think it could be ?
LukeJohnson: Well I dunno really. There's always been little things I've seen or heard about that just don't make sense to me. It just... doesn't, you know, feel right.
MissArafna: Sure. Some rumors. You didnt know to trust or how they fit in the puzzle. Ever heard the Word "Matrix" in some rumors ?.
LukeJohnson: Matrix... Matrix... thinking about it, I think I might have. I was in this club close to where I live, Jacob's Ladder, you heard of that place?
LukeJohnson: Well I was in there one night and I could hear this group of people talking off to my right. They were talking and they asked a girl, "Do you know what the Matrix is?" I've always been wondering that myself since that point.
LukeJohnson: You saying that makes me remember about it.
MissArafna: So you heard about it already. If i say i can show you what the "Matrix" is about. Would you like to know?.
LukeJohnson: Jeez, I dunno really... you're really nice and everything, yet I've only just met you, I don't know if I should...
MissArafna: Decission needs to be thinked over.
LukeJohnson: Yeah... I think you know what you're talking about though, so it would be good to maybe meet up again some time tomorrow possibly? I'd just like to go and sleep on this tonight to think it over, if that's alright?
MissArafna: Sure. You should take your time. Think about what i told. We will continue tomorrow.

LukeJohnson: So, I'd have to say a lie that the government has told us all.

So, how was this admission process? Enjoyable? Something you wish you hadn't wasted your time on?

I'm hoping its something that will change the nature of the server and the members of the splinter organizations. Really stresses the idea that you need to accomplish something in order to be commended and admitted into your organization... something I still feel is lacking within the game, at least for the main organizations.

For Sons of Liberty, the amount of work needed to be done was less than some because of their numbers. It certainly made my life easier *chuckles*

Seriously though, they did do a good job. Yes, I know that some people will prefer the outright combat option on there (especially on this instance) yet the option is there to make the point that we will accept many different styles of groups.

Personally for me, the best work that they did was extracting the bluepill. They weren't aware that I was observing all of their meetings from a distance, while I was sneaking about, yet the level of organisation that they went through was exceptional. MissArafna knows how to work with her operatives really well, she had them watching the exits of any location, they took their time with the bluepill and got the extraction done.

As you say though, it will mean a change, as it might mean that people really aren't beating the crap out of people 24/7 (not that there's anything wrong with that).
