Ok, I got back from vacation and was doing the criticals. Let me see If I have the general picture. The Machines had the Cypherites suicide bomb Old Zion and in that distraction they cornered Danielle Wright in her base above Old Zion. They killed her then used her link to the Zion Mainframe to upload a Virus and then sent in waves of Sentinels. Most of the ships escaped to New Zion but for Commander Lock's who is still missing and now Old Zion is surrounded by Sentinels. Did I miss anything there?

Meh, I never liked Lock anyway. I never understood how someone who never had and never could enter the Matrix, was in command of the Zion Operatives and Captains in it.

My initial thought was simple: he had connections, plus he's sort of a pushy bugger, so he found a way to influence himself up the chain of command. Plus, I suspect Zion might be more inclined to have freeborn as leaders on the forward edge of things, since they'd be -- technically -- less likely to have had their judgement clouded by going into and out of the Matrix so many times, and they're less likely to be suffering the effects of VDTs (virtual damage trauma) from injuries to their minds sustained while they were jacked in.

Well Roland is in charge now, it will be very interesting to see what he does with his command. I must say though, I'm very unimpressed with Colt.
