"they" is a very broad pronoun.
I'm not a fan of the shim (hang your head in shame Rarebit!), but to not allow males to play female characters and not even give a reason is absolutely ridiculous. Not only that, they still allow the females to play male characters. Dubya-Tee-EF!! They just alienated a massive load of their customers. Smooth!
