Another thing I would like to see is attacked to the /details ingame.  I'm *poop* on photoshop so I wont try and will only explain

Next to your name and handle in the details window why cant we show somethign that tells people how long this person has been with the game for.  There is plenty of space there as handles are limited in length (I'm sure)

A beta symbol for all the betas out there and then for each year after that a chevron.  At the 3rd anniversary a beta player would have a beta badge and 3 chevrons.  After that 3rd year im not quite sure but its a while till we hit the 4th anniversary SMILEY  Not too sure how this could be integrated with the target window but I'm sure some people can think of something.

Date of extraction could be added to the Details window for a player though since I dont make stuff just break it I dont have an informed answer to the difficulty of such. I can only say that Dracomet has comments on more than one occassion on how unpleasant our UI is to modify but hey they can only say Hell No if we ask right? SMILEY

One other problem however is the RP problem for that part of the community that does so. Many Machinists and Merv players RP their character's in such a way to reflect they are no Redpills but exiles or other programs. If no good terminology could be used in the UI I doubt any chance would be implemented because it would need to satisfy most (all is impossible) folks.

heh I see your point there with the RP thing..... *CENSORED* lol

An option to make it visable in the profile would probably be a little OTT.

As for chevrons HCfrog had been working on a system whereby chevrons were rewarded (and displayed on the target details box) based on organisational rep.

I always liked that idea and would love to see it fully integrated even if org abilities didn't go alongside like originally planned.

As for vet status, leave that to the eventual (yes, i'm a hoper and a dreamer) support for vet rewards based on yearly membership. I mean, we stole /claim from other SOE titles, why not use it?

Thats a nice idea with the rep thing.  I think that is what should be shown on the target window

Although both ideas could be shpwn in the /details

Yeah, i mean if they could put rep based chevrons and some sort of visualisation for yearly checkpoints ( thereby defeating the problem with RP since a visualisation would be more abstracted, although tatanya obviously wouldn't be happy about it SMILEY<img src= ) in the details panel then sure, that'd be sweet.

But you know, its all about how far they can and can not commit to stuff with everything else thats gotta be done as well.
