Maximum Damage

I would like to know what the maximum is (I assume all have the same cap, just like accuracy and resistance)?

I tried with balistic damage, I got it really high, but didn't hit the ceiling.

Don't know what it might be now, but I'm quite sure pre-CR2.0 I was able to hit for upwards of like 1800 points + of damage in one single hit with various buff/debuff combinations and Master Assassin spy abilities.

I think he means the +XX bonus when you open up the bonuses menu. Like Defense caps at +191 and Acc caps at +240 or so, he wants to know what damage caps at.

You're better off going for thrown damage to try for the cap, seeming it stacks with UM and all...

Thrown would definitely be the easiest. Overdrive, thrown dmg shirt, Torturers, UM, Smith's Rage, Overdrive pill, and Find Weakness. All at the same time. That's the highest damage possibility that that comes to mind at the moment. But of course, Gunmen have the advantage of the pugilist's gloves - pre nerf that might offset the fact that UM and Firearms can't stack.

I don't think it's possible to cap damage bonuses.
I've gotten Spy up to 104%. Guns have more dmg bonuses availabe in its' ability trees.

The damage cap for Ballistic Damage is WAY higher than the cap for Thrown Damage. I've hit up to 6-7k with a Sniper Shot while no matter how high I get my thrown damage and whatever level the person I punt is, it caps at 3,459 Thrown Damage I believe. I'll double check when I respec back to spy later today.

The damage cap for Ballistic Damage is WAY higher than the cap for Thrown Damage. I've hit up to 6-7k with a Sniper Shot while no matter how high I get my thrown damage and whatever level the person I punt is, it caps at 3,459 Thrown Damage I believe. I'll double check when I respec back to spy later today.

He's not talking about Damage-Damage, Like The Ballistic Damage pnts stat, in the buff tab.

Indeed, nothing can top UM + Find Weakness.

Indeed, nothing can top UM + Find Weakness.

Line up the shot stacks with firearms expert by the way.  I was able to get ballistic damage up to 197pts, let me know if anyone can get higher (I am not going to switch my attributes to test with knives)

The highest I have gotten so far is 206, with a ballistic damage bonus of 110%

Just a quick note, its not possible to hit the Damage Attribute Cap with the items, abilities, buffs currently available to players. I am not so sure about the Damage Influence Cap.

Firearms overrides Intensify Damage.

I just hate how NPCs use intensify damage so much, i mean surely they'd have firearms or martial arts instead of a crappy buff with an ott fx like intensify.

I want to go ahead and put this out here.

If someone could load up Sniper will almost every damage enhancement available in the guns tree along with line up the shot and firearms skill.

I'd like them to have all damage clothes on with a 15-15 Rifle, and someone else create a level 1, remove awakened from their kernel ( :O zomg sploitz ) and then choose the base stats for that level 1 to have the lowest ballistic resistance %.

I'm sure you'd hit pretty *CENSORED* high.

Not sure that lvl matters if you un-equip awakened, also make them sit.  I shot XXT for over 10,000 dmg doing that.
