Make Mobius code available for everyone.

Not just those who have had the same account from day one.

Plus they get to see a cool animation when they use it (something else to look forward too, cool animations). So now they can HJ and get some health back in a losing battle, hmmm maybe they'll sub after the trial and give the game a shot.

Now let's say, we didn't give them those things, then what? Cause I'll tell you right now I didn't have a clue of what to do when i first played this game. There were no guide, there were no friendly players. My first server was enumurator, some lvl 50 comes up to me and tells me to type /pvp if I wanted to talk to Neo. Now this bieng the first MMO I EVER played, I had no idea what the hell pvp was or meant. So I typed it in, less than a second later I was dead, and he tells me Neo says hi. Well that not much insentive for me to wanna play now is it? Fourtunatly there were 9 servers so I chose linenoise. I wasn't falling for the pvp trick but I still had no idea what was going on. Npc were hard to beat if you did know how to lvl your abs right. You couldn't jump away if your getting creamed and I couldn't find a pill vendor ANYWHERE. On;y reason I stayed is because I'm a hardcore Matrix fan. Most people that try the game with the trial and not Matrix fans, hell most new people we got after switching to SOE were station pass subscribers.

So, I understand your frustration on the matter but it's pretty much for promotional reasons. Also the reason they stopped giving out perpetual items and rare items as rewards is because people kept complaining. So by complaining why you can't have Mobius code, is pointless. There not going to stop giving out a rare item then turn around a give out a different one. It's either all rare items are up for grabs or none.

anywho...on Topic..i'm a Beta and Pre launch player....while i understand the mistake that was made handing them out to Trial players I also understand Why....., Please can we just put away the Dead Horse and its Beating Stick?...why all this time later is it still an issue?.....Leave it Drop..nothing is going to change and all these 'negitive' comments and such?...do you thing that makes the Devs and Staff really enthused to do nice things for us?   You think all the slams and such give them excitement and motivates them to get new(any content in any way shape and form is new) things for us....Dammit ppl..we are a small enough community that we should be concentrating on the Positive..not beat this horse until there is nothing but a skeleton left....Let it Drop....and before you all jump on me with 'you have it so you dont care'...ya i have it so wot i earned it....i wear my beta clothes proudly..i use MC whenever i pls...and i rarely load HJ cause i dont need to.....So wot......i didnt get a merv boon on rec and syntax...should i complain?..no....just try to be int he right place..right time as everyone of us should if your Really want something.....
Just sick and tired of all the complaints...wheres the 'thanks devs' for the new content lately?....1 thread buried away?  if i was a new player..and came to these forums i would probably quit the game after seeing all this negativity....Meh

It was a good move by the devs to stop handing out HJB and Moebius to trials after the first time, but the damage has been done and the abilites de-valued so why can't they just make them avaliable to players who deserve them, even if it is through some long , drawn out quest similar to the corrupted or as an add-on the the data mining content or even as a reward for a couple of those agent tie clips, just so long as there available.

Yea phay, I joined at the exact same time. just missed the good stuff. Seems our generation of players get dirt. Being UK 'n' all doesn't help either. Having to wait till 4:00am for events sucks, and most often - pointless. Coming close to 3 years of dedication to MxO, and I have received zero Vet items. and to then give out 2 abils that 'were' worth alot, to noob accounts makes us feel devalued.

I believe it was a mistake to give out these items to trial accounts. But also feel these abils should NOT be made available to everyone. There is still 'some' credability to have them as a Vet. player. and i feel making them universally available will only make them more worthless.

It could be worse guys, you could have been one of the players to get it, and not know what it was, then delete your character, then realize you'll never EVER have it agian... EVER...  *SOBS* If only I knew then What I know now.

I replied saying I have been here for two years and have nothing to show for that achievment itself.

I would have rather seen some sort of coat or something that distingishes them as a Trial Player, like Beta players have their clothing.

It wasn't your reply I was concerned about; it was the fact that clearly a player was concerned about getting his trial gift.
