Not to impressed personally, didn't seem to further the storyline at all. We know we are at war, we know stuff like this is going on in the background.
The headpat is a gesture to the person holding the launcher that it's been loaded. Rewatch Revolutions. " />
K, that wernt important and it looked really weird in the cinematic. So I am guessing that was an attack on New Zion, or was that EPN trying to get to 01.
The only thing is that you still can't tell exactly what's going on in these cinematics. I prefer the old style a lot but they do pwn like this
Yeah I miss the old in-game cinematics too. " width="15" height="15" />
But these are definitely much better than the initial animated ones. After rewatching it I believe:
- Machinists ("Gearheads" ) bust in on a Zion operation and Agents arrive shortly afterwards. - Zion, maybe EPN, launch a rocket at some squiddies. - Merv's Sentinels are scanning the power lines and he's amused at the results.

Mm, despite the fact that it didn't develop too much on the storyline, I think it was a great cinematic for the reason that it showed several points of view to the organization after the Truce has fallen and what they're working after.

Thats exactly what I saw to Garu.
Also, the rocket I believe is an RPEMPG [Rocket Propelled Electro Magnetic Pulse Grenade], that is why once launched and detonated, the sentinals in the AOE were rendered useless without physical damage, until of course they hit the cavern floor and were destroyed, but you know...it happens.
I find it strange that Female Agents haven't cropped up more in-game. Pace will always be the Female Agent that we talk to, like Gray is really the only Male Agent we talk to, but have some female agents around the place too, this includes Agent attacks (i.e. Cinematic 7.1)

Ditto the African American Agent that's shown up a few times in cinematics. I'd like to see Agent Npcs updated accordingly.

Because both of those Agents just come from people drawing the cinematic but have no basis on anything in the storyline/in-game.
Agents are all supposed to follow the same look to maximize their "non-descriptent" look. Pace is the only female Agent to be created, and was done so for very specific reasons.

Bleh.
Chadwick does the storyboarding for the cinematics, last I checked.

Possibly, but being a Man-Woman pair (ie. Mulder & Scully... minus the red hair...) would draw less attention then a pair of Big Blokes in Suits (ie. MiB - without the neuraliser ) Also as Star mentions the African American Agent needs to get a look in. Personally I think that the Wachowski's should have casted more variety for Agents, I'm sure they could still maintain the right 'feel' of them, being imposing and tough, with the right people...
I watched it and, when I saw The Merovingian, was like, "Dude! I was totally wearing the same suit, drinking the same sort of drink and in the same sort of pose last week!"
True story.
But, seriously, an evil laugh? He's definitely the type to chuckle more than anything. They butchered the character in "Path of Neo" by having him doing a Wicked Witch of the West cackle every five minutes.

If I remember correctly, somewhere on the one of the behind-the-scenes documentaries, the Wachowskis said they were aiming for a sort of 1950's look for the Agents, and if you look at 1950s pop culture, it's maddeningly white-only and male-dominated (thank God for the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s). I like the fact that in the MxO phase of the history of the Matrix, the Machines are becoming a lot more equal-oppurtunity.
