GeForce 8000 series indoor graphics issue

Once I started playing in windowed mode lag in general has been minimal and sparse.I have a Nvidia 7800 GT, 3.4 P4, 2 gigs of ram.Note that if I now notice lag it is mostly outside, cause I am using custom long distance settings in the user options configuration file. Windowed mode has also helped enormously with the green code lag you get when exiting hardlines.
