Nice pun, assuming it refers to a way of killing someone.

Good to see that the conflict with Zion hasn't distracted us or the Machines from the Merovingian's activities...

I was really glad to see this mission, as my character had been speaking more and more with the Liaisons regarding the fact that while all of our focus was on Zion, that the Merv actually seemed to be on the fast track to being a bigger issue.

Glad Merv's back in the picture again. I wonder if we'll actually manage to do something to him this time, instead of getting distracted and letting him get off the hook like always.

Doubtful. heh

This felt like the Merv missions of 8.1, but good to see from a different perspective. The Auditor was a pushover. Good mission.

P.S. +5 points for using the word 'troglodite' in a mission.

I thoroughly enjoyed this mish.  It brought back memories of the bleak, obssessive Auditor and his missions.  His character was well-evoked.

And having Hypatia make an appearance was great as well; her missions have always been some of my all-time faves, and I liked interacting with her again, even if not in common cause.    In the case of her missions, it would have been cool to tweak the room-filler so that there were some books lying on the floor, or even an apparently out of place bookshelf.

I liked the sense of depth and good to see that the Merovingian has not been sitting out this part of the story!

Nice to see some attention actually being focused where it should be for once... though I still fear it may be too late and some important information has already slipped from 01's fingers.

This is what we should be doing, while The Machines are busy dealing with Zion, Machinists should be dealing with threats from within the System be them from Zion or Merv....

((Whilst this was a pleasant change... dealing with Merv, there wasn't really as much new info/revelations for us that both Zion and Merv got in their own respective Crits...))

Okay, it sounds like the Machines are getting worried about the Merovingian's sentinels on the surface, so now they have to divert a little away from Zion to go after him! The first stop was to upset some place he makes "profit" from! It was basically a normal building with Exiles inside, but I did it and made it out ok!

Gray says next he wants to try to get some of the exiles to stop working with him, like the Auditor, for example! The Auditor was here with what looked like some other accountant looking programs SMILEY They said they weren't really with the Merovingian's side anyway, or any side for that matter, and the Auditor agreed not to be in contact with the Merv! That was easy SMILEY

GRay says the next target is Hypatia, who has been giving the Merovingian a lot of information lately and stuff to help him stay in control, even though she says it is harmless information! And they don't like some of the stuff she has been sharing with whoever pays her the most :O The operator said Hypatia was in the building with some of the bookwyrms gang (he called them nerdy hehe ) Hypatia didn't want to cooperate with the Machines, and wondering if they're scared the Merovingian will learn something they don't want him to know, so it looked like beating up her Bookwyrms was the only way to get her to cooperate here SMILEY After that, Gray said an Agent would show up to take Hypatia into custody, and an Agent appeared in the room SMILEY

Ok! Now there is a relay close by that the Merovingian uses to talk to the General that the Machines want to be shut down. There were lupines here, and a big fight, and then I shut down the relay thing, but then the General's hologram appeared! o.o He said there are many other ways for him to communicate, and the Machines can keep shutting them down, but there will always be more, and the Machines don't have as much time as they thought! He really seems to be enjoying things now that the war is going again :/ Agent Gray just dismissed it as just words with no meaning and said the Merovingian will have to stop his activities with the System after him soon!!
