Please, don't take this the wrong way, but any chance we can get a Producer's Letter from Walrus? I know he was at the Fan Faire, but a very small amount of people were able to see him, and it would be nice to know some of the things that the MXO team has in the production line, rather than going upon the rumors that were given at the Fan Faire. Please, if we could get a Producer's Letter from him, I would be ecstatic. We have not heard a peep from him since he left as CRM back in APRIL. I want to know what he has planned for the game.
Please, a Producer Letter. April. Just remember that. That's FOUR months. Most other Producer's at least do a Letter every 1-2 months...

Nice to see you mentioning the update coming up. Also, I'm interested in what these fixes are, and what other additions made it to the table.I'd like to give everyone as much lead time on some of these as possible since I know fixing problems is a good thing for most updates. My main thing is I want to see it confirmed and 100% it's going to be in the next update before we announce it. It's better to hold back information a bit longer for that reason than say here it is and then say oops it's not in.
Ahh the Producer's letter. I think it's about time we have one of those as well. I'll bonk Walrus on Monday.
RSS feeds? So could we plug the RMC:Terminal podcast into this ??I don't think so mate, I think it's more along the lines of having a direct feed to threads and topics. It's pretty neat though from what I've seen.

Sounds kool either way! Nice review to. Roll on the next update.
Yeah. RSS feeds are just so you get notification of when a thread has new posts. It is rather handy. So the "Notify when a reply is posted" ain't that?
It never worked. Silly thing.
You can have RSS feed into your own personal website, on like the front page, so it updates your site automatically with whatever you've subscribed to.
Lots of guides have already been done, check the guides and FAQ forum.
Can't you at least tell us what's possible to be fixed or implemented so we have a general idea of what the chapter is going to be like? Even if some of those items don't make it, we can just go, "Ah, well, at least we have ********" or something. Not knowing anything is both annoying and frustrating, and it makes these stupid Reviews pointless. Might as well rename them "The Recap of the Week."
I dont think they want to say anything as some people would kick up a huge stink saying they were promised content we never got, threats to leave, flame Devs and Mods etc
I thought we would see another episode of Brewko's Corner this week, especially with that treasure hunt that was on Syntax in Tabor Park. Still, a nice review all the same.

Rarebit nor I will give any insight as to which way the storyline is going to go, that's pretty much how it is. If there's something major that we fix we can definitely talk about it but yeah that's pretty much where we're at for this week.
Also, if you don't have anything constructive to add to this thread I'll ask that you not post again. Thanks.
I didn't get the news from Brewko this week but I'll bug him next week since they are ramping up the random events again.

They are automatically created via the forum system to export posts / threads. The RSS data is used using XML so most readers will use it. Its also good for a Live Feed based system.
RSS is part of the web 2.0 standard.
RE: Havocide: Sorry but the feeds are automatically made via the forum, there is no method to manually insert RSS feeds. The only way would be to create a thread for it to be displayed. Apart from that way, i am sorry but there is no method to add Feeds.
For the website: Joel you and Jake have my contact details if you need me to check the security or code anything up

I'll bonk Walrus on Monday.I strongly advise you rephrase this line.
So since you said you think we're gonna really like the new cinematic, you are now obligated to give us a hint on whats in it

Will it be the same style as before...comic style that is, or have you guys returned to the ingame engine
More than likely it will be the comic style, I think it was said that they just dont have to time to make the in game version of the cinematic

Fixed ^_^
Also it says a lot better to say: "We have graphic novel style cinematics every 6 weeks that continue the story of 'The Matrix'" It sounds a lot better, not to mention MGS and MGS2 Graphic Novels will be released in nearly an identical style (mabey a little bit more 'anime'
but all the cinematics in Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops used the 'mono-chrome' graphic style that we had from the cinematics in chapter 5, so it isn't like we are getting second rate stuff that no other game dare use.
Also, good news on the Brewko corner thing. All he needs now is a logo, it could be his RSI sat on a chair with his leg crossed holding a book with a pipe and a pair of reading specs on the end of his node ^^

I was panicking, since this is how I do the daily Live Events threads with their 42 images, and nearly any other link or image I post, but then I noticed the "HTML" button in the JavaScript editing panel. Is that new? Anyway, you can click that and then edit the post's HTML directly, which is I think going to be nice once I get used to it.
A little slower for some things (particularly since I prefer to run with JavaScript disabled on my slower home machine) but could allow for a lot more flexibility in what you can do with a post.
Finally! Something MxO and Vista can do together!
I <3 Windows Sidebar!! :DDD
Real-time forum updates on the side of my screen! :D
*Cheers for RSS Feeds*Oooh, something that vista is actually useful for? Maybe having that spare Vista laptop isn't such a drag after all.
