Good work on that extraction, Troopers. As far as we've been able to tell, Roger's entirely legit. One more for the cause.

So that's what was going on out there that entire time...

Good job Troopers another bluepill freed

Alright, Troopers! Glad to see that we've got another legitimate mind freed... I'd have to agree with Ghost about the bluff, otherwise the System wouldn't dedicate so many Agents to stopping him.

Good work - now we all just need to continue along this line...

((I love the events with Ghost - they tend to be smaller, more faction based ones with team involvement, and that always ends up being more personal and, usually, less spammy, and more action-packed and cool. But that's always been Ghost's style SMILEY))

Well done everyone there, it looked like a fun event. I wonder if it was anyone special who killed that Agent.

It was probably from data mining or something.

So much for giving new redpills the choice of which org to work for.  (I guess Zion only values choice when it's the "right" choice.)

Yep. So much for that.

This is war, sweetie. The Colonel declared our interests illegitimate and is acting against us. We're rebelling. It's that simple.

Shall we assume, then, that any bluepill potential will automatically become part of Zion's forces after extraction?  Because that may change the way potentials will be dealt with.

I have a question I would like to put to all Zionites. If you extract a bluepill, and the find out they what is really going on through your half truths or they simply decide that Zion is not where they want to be and they decide to leave to join the Machines, hell, even the Merv.... would you just let them leave? Would you agree to let them join another organisation even though you risked life and wasted resources trying to extract him? I remember in my first few weeks of joining the Machines in their vision of the future, I had Zion operatives branding me a traitor and trying to kill me... the same goes with a few other operatives I had to help out.

What if you tell the Bluepill your 'truth' and they decide then and there to join The Machines or the Merv... would you just not extract them and leave, even though they have made the choice you so desperately want to give? I realise that you don't offer them the different viewpoints, in fact you only give them one, your own... but what if they were previously informed? How many potential Bluepills are wandering the Simulation after being offered the choice but made the wrong decision in which Org to join....

Actually we inform them of the different choices and suggest good factions. Most of the time we bring them in tell them to do intro missions then send them off to the differnt orgs if they wanted to go that way. Org inbalance sucks.
Really? I didn't see anything like that in any LE that I've read up on it more like 'Quick, we can protect you against those who want to kill you....'

The real choice does not come until they come back into the simulation. During the live event, We were trying to bring a person to freedom. Because that person was already in danger of deletion by the Architect. Understand that we are not referring to the machine operatives, we are referring to the PROGRAMS themselves being hostile to the human enlightened. Once we got him out of the fields. Thats when we give them the choice and show them the REAL world.

Bluepills are not in danger of being deleted. Yes there was one regrettable incident that the Machines regarded as necessary, but they are not killing all Bluepills, they can still live in the Simulation even with nagging doubts..

So, say if Roger Lawson decided that, after being 'freed' by yourselves, he wanted to join The Machines or the Merv, you'd happily let him leave Zion and contact another Org?

Cooperation based on free will is what we are after. How can you consider someone an equal who is not aware of this simulation around them?

Instead, give them the truth, based on what humanity did, based on the man vs machine war. And let him decide from the truth, on his own two feet.

If the machines and mervs started to come to zion and work with us as complete equals to fix the skies, and bring about the begining of a real cooperation, I would support it. The Truce was nothing but a time maker for all of us (in which we did not take advantage of except for the New Zion.) The very fact that the architect is threatened by new zion is reason enough to beleive that they do not want equals, they want slaves. And slaves you can't control are trouble.

But yes, if they chose on their own to go to a different org, I support them and send them to Silent Shadows, Systematic Chaos, Ronin, Dark Evolution, LET, others that are known well.

We must be true to our own nature, and I repsect that in all people, reguardless of their affiliation. I am zion at heart. I will defend the children of zion until my dying breath. However, I am open to the ways of the machines and meros and see their point of view.

Very nice extraction.  Choice was presented and a descision was made freely.  Kudos to those who fought and bought time in order for a choice to be made.
