You know, things have been going through my mind lately, they've been going on since I came back. One of the thing that keeps popping into my mind is, why am I a Cypherite, why am I part of an organization that kills redpills with an unfair advantage, and kills ruthlessly, torture captured operatives and will do anything to achieve our objectives.
Tonight, my faction leader Ebola asked me of what will I do if another horrible secret was revealed about the Cypherite organization. As most of you know early on when I came back, I was disillusioned with what happened to Cryptos, or more of what Cryptos really was. Then I've heard that reinsertion was a lie, and I became even more disillusioned.
I was approached by EPN, to come join their rank and file, and in order to do so, I would have to betray the same people that I fought alongside with, the same people who had the same ideas that I do. I couldn't betray them, because I realize that I was not mad at the Cypherite organization, I was mad at the machines. I could never betray my Cypherite brothers and sisters, and I never will.
I kicked around the idea of becoming a Merovingian operative, and for awhile I was set on becoming one, after all, after I blew up a machine outpost inside the simulation, where else could I go? I couldn't be a Merv. It's not in me to become an operative of an organization that has profit as it primary goal, and will do anything to achieve said profit.
So I rejoin the Cypherite cause, and I rejoined Exigence, and it's where I stand today. Why am I a Cypherite? I am a Cypherite because I am a person who knows that he needs to protect the bluepills, and the system. It what gets me out of my cabin in the morning, it's what puts me in the chair day in and day out. Simply put, the Cypherite organization offers the freedom to protect the bluepills in a matter that I see best. If that means getting my hands dirty, then so be it.
To my Cypherite brothers and sisters, if I have betrayed you in my time away from the organization, I am sorry, I never meant to betray you and I never meant to hurt the organization. I just had to get some things straight, for me. From this day forth, and until the end comes, you can count on me being a Cypherite operative, I will not leave this organization again, and you will be able to count on me to lend you support.
As for the Zionist and Kiddies, see you inside the simulation, and watch your jacks! *chuckles*
