Hello all.
I'm new to this game, as the subject gives away SMILEY, I've played other MMOs, and have started playing Matrix online, in looking though this forum I've run across this thread call Dojo, and people asking where they are in the game world. The char. that I am running right now I want to make into a Operative, and it seems that the Dojo is the place to go. However what is a Dojo? Why do I want to go there?

Thanks for all the help, and I'm very sorry for the very very very newbie question SMILEY

You all have a good night SMILEY

Welcome to The Matrix Online :)
In MxO you load your abilities directly into your brain so the place to go is a hardline no matter who you are.  In the game world there are a number of Dojos (located in International) but they don't have special purposes aside from looking good and having enough open floor space for a fight.  This part of the forum is called Dojo because it is for discussion of the Operative trees - one of which is Martial Arts.

A dojo is basically a school for martial arts. Thus, the section of this message board devoted (partially, anyway) to discussing and learning about martial arts in MxO is called the dojo... which also has clear ties to the part in the first Matrix film where Morpheus and Neo fought when Neo had just finished his mental training.

There are actual dojo's in MxO as well, but they are basically just cool looking buildings where people can fight eachother, or just sit around and chat, or have parties, etc.  If you're looking for a dojo in game, you need to head to the International district.  The easiest one to get to is very close to the Sai Kung Central hardline.
