(( Gah.. I hope you're not right about that Star. Though, one of the main uses of the word potential in the Matrix has also been in reference to The One... seems more likely it's about a potential awakening though ))

Yes...because I trust Veil to just take her word that "z0mg their going to try and bomb 01 in teh Real!", oh and I love the touch that if I want more info, she can find it for me. Cause I should just go ahead and trust her to give me more proof to the idea that I find idiotic.

Standard infiltration mission here. Sounds like the Machines failed at New Zion pretty quickly, but I guess they did so at Stalingrad first too.

I feel that the comment about EPN bombing the Machine city has to be taken with a pinch of salt, as there are many other areas that could be targeted which could cause disruption, which possibly aren't as heavily guarded, if the EPN are clever enough.
What I would like to hear more about is the boast about calling her if we want to get into New Zion.. typical Cyph talk or have they actually got a way?

Well.. another aggravating mission... Zion has been denied the ability to awaken more individuals, so it only makes sense that we should step in if they continue to attempt awakenings. At this point, more of those that Zion awakens are likely to simply drown in their pods anyway should they substantiate as I would imagine that access to the fields is now even more strictly controlled.
.. to hear, however, that 01 has already started offensives agaisnt New Zion is not pleasant news. If Zion was unwilling to lay down their arms and head to the bargaining table before, this will only reduce their willingness. And then, of all things, to have it implied that 01 will crawl even further into bed with the Masked? ...
As for whether or not EPN has the capability to do damage in the Real, well, they're actions within the simulation are going to be very limited in scope so I can certainly see them moving in that direction. They may or may not have the bombs ready to roll, but there is little doubt in my mind they are at least working in that direction.
From what I understood from Gray, the Machines were testing the defences, rather than an actual assault. I can see where Zion may construe it as an assault, but at least they now know that the Machine weren't bluffing, and that coming to the negotiation table would be far better in outcome than a sustained bombardment...

Just like to mention I liked how after I uploaded the data disk to the PC at the end, I turned around and 4 Zionites were busting through the door, with the machine captain dead in the other room. They actually startled me a bit!

I'm actually building a stage in the real for everyone to come and watch the light shows. We'll have beer, popcorn, and a giant scoreboard that has "Machines" and "EPN" on it.
