So, I've recently hit 18, and have been having tons of fun. However, recently, I have been doing regular missions, (and some archive missions) and have been sent over to the westview (westlake? can't quite remember) area, where you get the message about increased agent activity.

So far, I haven't been able to finish many missions due to the fact an agent will pop up inside the mission, and kill me. Now, I don't mind dying...much, but is there any way to prevent this from happening? I've tried getting rid of the mission, to see if it will put me someplace safer, but so far no luck.

Any suggestions?

One you leave Richland and start exploring Westview, International, and Downtown, you will enter restricted zones, which, as you've already seen, are protected by Agents.

You can make the area safe by tagging the neighborhood's Access Node, which is hidden somewhere in that neighborhood (there's one in every neighborhood in each district). To hack the Access Node, you'll need to find the key for that node, and the key is usually dropped by gang members in nearby neighborhoods. The gang member boss usually has a much higher drop rate, and your best bet is to go find them and kill them for the key.

Also the gang reflow in Westview makes missioning there very difficult, catch the yellow subway line to get to Sai Kung in the International district, once you've tagged a hardline you can just jack in there, missioning there is much easier but you have to tag the hardline for the area you're missioning in.

I had the same problem, so ill need to get jacked in adn start finding those keys, makes mishing hard when your afriad an agent might sneak up behind you. Ive managed to get one misison in before getting raped by Mr Agent Wilson.

Also, whats with some Hardlines not working (Red), all this becuase of the storyline and Zion?

Hardlines typically go down when the area surrounding them is heavily populated. Unfortunately sometimes they forget to reset themselves and stay disabled until the server is restarted.

Access nodes are terminals with a greeny electrical disturbance emanating from them in a vertical fashion. You require access key cards that gang bosses (and sometimes gang members) drop upon untimely cessation of living...

The higher level areas give you a significant boost in experience for each you hack.

How do I hack access node? What abilities do I activate and is there any special equipment i need to access it?

No special abils needed, all you have to do is find the Access Key and go to the correct node, you wont be able to interact with the node unless you have the key and the Yellow/Red bar will stop showing on the compass once you have tagged the node.

Just to confuse things, I've hit all the nodes in Westview except the one in Bathary Row. Yet, I will still get attacked by Agents for some inexplicable reason. I think it has something to do with the con level of my opponents. The Agent seems to show up most when I'm in Stamos and Bathary Row, where my enemies still con Red for the most part. But, after I die, and use a hardline to go to Mannssen Park, where the mobs are conning yellow and blue, the Agent still shows up and kills me.
Anyone's thoughts on what's what?

Due to the Broken truce, If You're a zionite, you'll be likely attacked by agents outside of Richland; Even if you've hit all the access Nodes.

I don't know if I'm saying something you already know, but if you simply hyperjump (straight up into the air, even), the Agent will lose interest and vanish. You know what they say about discretion being the better part of valor . . .
