ABOUT US

The Rogue Unit was established by a group of like minded Machine operatives under the leadership of MysticTravi. This group, which may seem like nothing more than a rag-tag group of Machine outcasts, are actually more than meets the eyes.

Established in July 2007, it combined a group of operatives from various different factions that wished for more freedom in their actions in defending what they believe in: The Truce, their familes or for whatever they cherish in most. Quickly organized in a paramilitary strike force, they were ready to assist the Machines in all endeavours.
The name comes the way that the operatives carry out their orders, with tactical precision and throughness. Essentially, they carry out their orders and objectives to the upmost extent possible, doing what is neccesary to complete the mission (within the parameters of the mission). They earned the nickname: Rogues; due to this efficient and thorough job they do in their operations.

While not totally out of tune with their brothers and sister in other factions, they tend to disagree with the way some things are run in their brother factions; but are willing to fight side by side to uphold the will of the Machines, and secure the peace through the chaos.

This group, ever growing in experience and seniority - stands on the shores of destiny as the line is now drawn in the sand against a Truce that is broken. There can be no retreats...no excuses.

It has come to my attention that you wish to join the ranks of our elite paramilitary force. We at The Rogue Unit, otherwise known as the Rogues are always seeking new, willing operatives and programs to join our cause.
The Rogue Unit is a loyal Machine faction that tend to take our orders and carry them out with extreme efficiency, and doing what needs to be done to get the job done. Hence our name: The Rogues.
While we're relatively new, we're not lacking in our experience as operatives and associates to the Machines. Most us have survived the beta iteration of the Matrix, the assassination of Morpheus, the reign of the dangerous exile The Assassin and numerous other events, thankfully...we all lived to tell the tale.
Our rules are simple. We're loyal to our superiors, be it Agents, The Architect, or liaisons. While we do occasionally work with the Cypherites (for the good of the System and our own interests), we are not within their ranks. Our work is to uphold the order, maintain balance and enforce the system's rules as it is important to ourselves as humans.
Though our name implies us as Rogues, we're not exactly the wild-cards of the Machine ranks. We just tend to do what is necessary to maintain the peace and uphold the will of our superiors and our own interests. If not for us and other brave Machine factions, the likes of E Pluribus and the Truce breaking Zionites would reign.
Outside our line of work, we're a fun loving, family orientated environment. We're here to have fun and enjoy our friend and comradeship. We hope you'll join us for this as well.

Once you've done this, please post an application in our recruitment section. We will review this information and make our decision based on the given information.
