It's well worth it to run into a huge group of flagged and set it off, then run away. Unfortunately, it can now MISS since a much earlier patch, which makes its ability to stop sneaking spies a 50/50 thing when that used to be something that was worth it (even when it originally dealt 200 damage to the user before something broke and it stopped doing that).
It seems that the changes were not applied yet. We have sent in bug reports about this for a while now, it is good to see that they will be addressed soon. The effects of Corruption pulse are ridiculous and they have acknowledged that. Hopefully the intended changes will be applied soon.
Yeah...200damage to the user for -5 ct and 7 damage to an opponent? Lol.
Balance it out, dealing 200 damage to everyone in your radius might be a bit excessive - make it 100 damage to the user 100 to surrounding enemies? Or, just give 7damage to the user.
