I know this will probably interest only a handful of you guys.  But the dialogue for the NPCs that stand next to the org collectors have finally changed.  They haven't changed since just after "Death of the Destroyer" ended.

Most of the new dialogue occurs when you speak to the NPC whose organization corresponds with yours.  The only other changes I've seen so far occur if you speak to Poretta (located in Southard) as a non-Machinist, where he says the exact same thing except that "the Assassin" as been replaced with "the General".  And Pierre's (located Sai Kung) dialogue when you speak to him as a non-Merovingian, which is completely different from his previous text.

I'll add every new piece of dialogue to my NPC Dialogue section when I update my site with my 7.3 transcripts.

Does Gray's recruitment window change now? I.e. no longer referencing a relationship with Zion? What about 1.1, does it still play after tutorial? Oh, and what of Lock's line about Morpheus and the truce?

That is why i tried to make a new character. Too bad we couldn't find any of those out because you can't run the tutorial(missions broken)

I've found another change.  One type of signpost NPC (the NPCs with the floating "i" above their heads that can be found around the former "newbie hardlines" ) who gives a brief summary of what has happened between the end of Revolutions and now has been given a slight dialogue alteration.  He used to say this ...

"Now the Machines allow the humans limited freedom of movement within the Matrix, and have agreed to allow certain humans to awaken from their ignorant slumber. But still, neither side trusts the other, and no one is sure how independent interests like the Merovingian will affect the situation yet."

This text has been changed to this ...

"The Machines allowed the humans limited freedom of movement within the Matrix, and agreed to allow certain humans to awaken from their ignorant slumber.  But still, neither side trusted the other...and eventually, war broke out again."

As far as I know, this is the first time a signpost NPC's dialogue has been changed.

Edit: Stupid smilies messing with my brackets. SMILEY

Good to see they have changed. I checked one of the Agent signpost NPCs and he still says the same thing even though I'm a Zionite. He should say something like "The truce is now broken between Zion and the Machines, if you want to survive I would advise you to join the Machines or risk being destroyed."

Also I wonder if the introductory missions have changed to reflect this and if Machine NPCs are appearing in Zion standard missions.

I can't confirm the former, but there are hostile Machine NPCs in Zion standard missions now.

As a Machinist:

Machine Org Collector: "Zion has broken the Truce. The simulation must be defended if your species is to survive."

Merv Org Collector: "What must I do to prove the warm affection I've always had for you? Come, join us. You'll like it here."

Zion Org Collector: "You have to come back to us! Every threat to the Matrix proves we need all humanity fighting as one, just to survive!"

Cool stuff.  I'd love to know if there's any change in the intro missions and all of that n00b stuff.
