I, as a member of this community, would like to represent it as Player of the Year. No, not just for a free trip to Vegas. No, not to go and make an @$$ of myself in a drunken stupor 
, but to go to the Fan Faire in the name of this community, supporting the cause and ideals of this community.
Player of the Year should be more than just the guy you all send to Vegas. It should be the person that been there for people, helped them, and helped make this community a better place for everyone in the past year, and I think that I'm the man for the position. As said before, I'm not the greatest guy here by any means, nor am I the most popular, but I hold my weight here. I am willing to give back to those that would support me. I have always been at the service of the community, and I will double that effort(and add a few more things in for good measure.

MxO isn't the most popular game. It isn't the most interesting to a wide audience, but I believe in it's potential and I love it's community enough to represent it properly if I was nominated.
