Allright, hopefully in a few months I will be moving permanently (or at least several years) to either England or Ireland (I'd consider other European countries but I only speak a little Spanish at best).

For the time being, I will move to either the UK or Ireland.  Couple questions:

1.  Which one has a better health-care system? (I have a pre-existing condition and I can't get insurance here in the US)

2.  Which one has a better employment rate?

3.  Which has more long term stability, the Pound or the Euro?

Help me decide!

Depends where in each country.. i mean there are some parts of Ireland that have roads, services ETC that are not exactly top notch but then there are either parts closer to the City's, or bigger towns that have great services.. my guess is same goes for england.

Just one word of advice, if your coming to ireland with the expectation of cheap fast broadband then think again it cost around €60 for a4MB connection per month.

(This is the fastest in most areas and its a joke, only in cities will you get close to 8MB)

Compare this to a 16MB - 24MB Connection in england at pretty much the same price.

O noes!!!  Rubberbanding issues with MxO????  UK wins!!!

SMILEY  (Actually I only get a 3MB Connection atm and don't have too much of a problem).

Who is Doing 4 MB ??? :O im paying 50 per month for 3MB.. eircom also. i would recomend them but they can be slow at setting things up if you are a returning customer... i was left waiting 4 months for them to connect me. the neighbors had it and i could not get until they removed my old house off the system which made no sense since i was opening a new customer account lolz.
